One more from snowy Gatlinburg this morning. It looks like we could get much more on Friday, so I'm not recommending a weekend visit if you have plans for our fine tourist town.

Safety is paramount, and I want you all to come back and visit when the weather is favorable. Only travel here if you feel it is safe, but keep in mind the amount of businesses that will be closed due to the inclement weather we're expecting.

I'm not being a bad guy here. I rarely ever not advise people to visit our lovely tourist town. But yet, I still have people who think I give away too much information. Sadly, I can't win, but I'm only doing what I think is best for everyone in this instance. Please be safe out there, folks!

Snowy Ride on the Ober Mountain Tram in Gatlinburg ❄️

A beautiful snowy December morning as the Ober Mountain Tram rises above Gatlinburg. The snow-covered mountains and valley create a perfect winter wonderland view. ❄️

The aerial tram reaches heights that give you amazing views of both the town and the surrounding Smoky Mountains. From up here, you can see the snow-dusted trees and rooftops stretching out below. 🏔️

Want to experience the tram ride yourself? Winter operation hours vary based on weather conditions, so check Ober Mountain's website before heading up. The tram station is right in downtown Gatlinburg! 🚡

We love vacations, and it shows. After our son was born, it was difficult to find family-friendly vacation rentals that met all of our needs. We still desired luxury accommodations, but also wanted them to feel like a home away from home. So in 2011, we purchased our first beach condo. After adding our own touches, we started sharing our high-end, family-friendly condo with others.

Today, Bailey Vacation Properties consists of two private homes in Perdido Key, FL (located between Pensacola, FL and Orange Beach, AL) and a large cabin in Gatlinburg. We aim to anticipate the needs of our guests and provide extras so you don’t have to stress. We think you’ll enjoy the vacation experience we deliver.
