Antelope Canyon is easily the most famous slot canyon in the USA! Most people know about the tours that will walk you through two parts of the canyon, one is the upper slot canyon and the other is the lower slot canyon. You must pay a fee, sign up for a tour time, and you are herded through the canyon with a large tour group of people.

BUT what most people don’t know is that you can also kayak to a portion of Antelope Canyon. Located at Antelope Point Marina, you can rent kayaks for the day and kayak through Lake Powell to get to it.

Are you ready for an epic 2 days in Yosemite?! This itinerary is perfect for first timers because you will get to see all of the must-see sights, do a few scenic hikes, hopefully spot some wildlife, and have tons of photography opportunities!

Yosemite is by far my favorite national park to date, and I have no doubt it will be yours too! The views around every corner are absolutely breath-taking. I caught myself saying, “WOW this is so beautiful,” about 100x a day, ha!

Have you ever wanted to travel to a destination SO bad and hyped it up SO much in your mind that when you finally got there… it didn’t live up to your expectations? Well, I am happy to say the Big Sur is not one of those places. I have been itching to travel to this area for some time now and it was more beautiful than ever expected.

Are you ready to hike the best hike in Bryce Canyon!? The Navajo Loop Trail is not only my favorite trail in Bryce Canyon, but might be my favorite hike EVER.

What I hate about most hikes is that the actual hike isn’t beautiful, just the viewpoint. And when you finally get to the viewpoint, you sit there for a few minutes and then turn around and hike back down. The Navajo Loop trail is different… The steep descent into the canyon, walking through the trees along the base of the canyon and outstanding views on the way back up made the entire hike beautiful.

Are you wondering what the most underrated city in Utah is?! Kanab is one of the most scenic, non-touristy and adventure packed cities I’ve traveled to. Sure, it might not be one of those cities that you travel from all over the world to see, but it definitely has it’s charm! If you are on the west coast exploring other national parks, I think it is definitely worth it to take an extra day to visit this off-the-beaten path town.

This 2.5 mile stretch of fluffy white sand and breathtaking sunsets is the perfect hub for your vacation. Usually when you are a local, you avoid the touristy areas of town as much as possible. Us “Vegas Locals” avoid touristy sites like The Strip, Hoover Dam, and Grand Canyon, but Downtown is different. Every time my friends want to go out or celebrate a birthday, Downtown is where we go time and time again.

I have been to every single bar in the downtown area (many times) and I can attest that these are by far the BEST bars in downtown Las Vegas!

Sometimes I think about all the money I spend traveling so far from home, when there is amazing places so close to me that I haven’t seen yet!
