Near Ohio/Erie Canal trail, ProFootball Hall of Fame, Amish Country Berlin & Walnut Creek, Atwood & Tappan Lake, Historic Zoar, Swiss Festival & Wineries. No cleaning fee. Dog friendly! Paid-Wifi.

The space
READ ON. ***I AM NOT BLOCKING NIGHTS OR CANCELING DUE TO COVID-19. We clean with bleach and Melaleuca products, Counter tops, light switches, handles- anything that can be touched! You will not have contact with other humans unless you desire so! **

The area is rural with rolling hills and forests. Park-like roads lead you to the 1/4 mile long, gravel, " Steep" private drive that winds up through the trees. Not intended for Fast and the Furious cars. This is country, well maintained country. You'll reach the container atop the hill, surrounded by trees. Peace and quiet. You will have no interaction with another human, unless you want it!
Inside, a corner sleeper sofa completes the reading/lounge space large enough to spend the entire day gazing out the giant slider doors, large deck, gas grill and hot tub!
An eclectic collection of vintage, handmade and found items complete the fully stocked tiny kitchen, complete with single burner hot plate, toaster oven and microwave and Bluetooth radio.
Down the hall, behind an antique door is a full, private bath stocked with amenities and a spacious shower.
At the back of the container is the colorful, comfortable queen bedroom that opens up to the outside through a picturesque slider door for lots of fresh air and natural light.

Guest access
You will have complete access to the whole container and the immediate surroundings.

Other things to note
Wifi is available for $8 for each night booked. This Wifi is a secure and dedicated service to the container. Some cell phone carriers have very limited service inside and outside of the container. AT&T and T Mobile being the weakest. Sprint is marginal. Verizon is very good. There is no TV. If you need the WiFi service please mention it ahead of your arrival so I can make the password available to you.

A beautifully converted 1945 boat nestled within a private forest overlooking the beautiful open fenland countryside. Perfect retreat for couples looking to relax, explore and visit the local towns. Located 15 minutes drive from Ely and 30 minutes from Cambridge.

The boat forms part of the overall space incorporating the bedroom with a king size double or two singles, accompanied by a adjoining boat shack with an eclectic industrial style kitchen and bathroom with walk-in shower.

The space
The historic 1945 boat originally called the Anthony Stevenson sailed out of Penzance Cornwall, she has been converted in to a unique holiday retreat for couples. The modern boat interior has been designed to complement the beautiful oak beams and larch planking, it includes a double kingsize bed or two singles, running water, tea, coffee and WiFi.

The boat is positioned on a large deck made of reclaimed sleepers within a tranquil private forest overlooking the beautiful fenland countryside. The perfect retreat for couples to relax, explore and enjoy the amazing sunsets.

Accompanied by an adjoining boat shack style building made from many reclaimed materials which contains your private eclectic industrial kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen contains a large vintage carpenters workbench, with butler sink, cooking hobs and fridge. The spacious bathroom includes a private walk-in shower, toilet and basin. If you would prefer to relax and bathe in nature on a fresh summers evening there is a secluded roll-top bath outside on the deck.

The boat is positioned on its own privately fenced three acre forest, on our small holding where we live in a 1760 Georgian property with our pet goats, horses, dogs and chickens.

We try to live a eco friendly sustainable lifestyle and as such the boat runs entirely off-grid with renewable energy produced by our solar panels.
