Starting January 9, 2022, as mandated by the Aklan local government under Executive Order No. 001 Series of 2022:

• All travelers bound for Boracay and other areas in Aklan Province, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to present a negative RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours before flight departure.

• All passengers bound for Boracay must land at Caticlan Airport. (Travel to Boracay via Kalibo Airport will no longer be allowed.)

STEPS:
1. Access https://www.touristboracay.com/
and choose Aklan Mainland.
2. Fill out required fields and click submit. Make sure that the correct visitor type is selected (Traveller).
3. Take a screenshot of the OHDC confirmation page.
4. Send the following documents to [email protected], using the email subject OHDC-FamilyName, FirstName:
Requirements for Travellers coming from outside Western Visayas:
1. screenshot of the OHDC confirmation
2. Philippine government-issued ID
3. Negative RT-PCR Result Certificate (saliva or nasopharengeal or oropharengeal) with date of extraction within seventy-two (72) hours to date of travel
4. Travel details (Only Kalibo International Airport can be used by those travelling via air.)
5. S-Pass Travel Coordination Permit (TCP) (can be obtained from https://s-pass.ph/
)
Requirements For Passing Through Passengers:

Note:
Please submit your documents at least 12 hours or more before your travel to Aklan to avoid delays.
RTPCR results are verified with the laboratories.
Travellers with falsified results shall be criminally prosecuted.
5. Wait for the email response (successful or unsuccessful) of the Final Validator. The validation team processes the QR Code within several minutes from receipt of email and usually responds within an hour. If you have not received any response within two hours, please send another follow up email.
6. If processing is unsuccessful, an email will be sent to you requesting for additional requirements or clarification. Please immediately comply with this to avoid delays in the QR Code release.
7. If processing is successful, a copy of HDC with QR Code will be sent back through email. Have a printed or digital copy. The QR Code will be used in the ports of entry (land, air, sea).

Tourists from GCQ/MGCQ areas are allowed in Boracay - based on the general rule. As with GCQ under Heightened Restrictions, we await for the official pronouncement by the concerned authorities.

For the meantine, check with the airlines for flight availability then get approval for your QR when allowed to travel from [email protected] - the Validating Office of Aklan.

MANDATORY USE OF FACE SHIELDS

In line with directives from the Philippine government, all Cebu Pacific passengers will be required to wear face shields during the entire flight.

This is on top of the mandatory use of face masks upon entering the airport terminal until arrival at the destination.

CEB continues to implement enhanced bio-security preventive measures to keep our passengers and personnel safe. These safety measures include daily extensive cleaning and disinfection protocols for all aircraft and facilities, rapid antibody testing for all frontliners and crew and contactless flight procedures These are based on global best practices, and adhere to the highest safety standards

Those on cancelled flights may choose to place the cost of the ticket fare in a Travel Fund valid for two (2) years; refund; or opt to rebook to any other travel date. CEB has permanently removed change fees, so passengers may rebook as many times as they need, minimal fare difference may apply. Passengers may conveniently manage their bookings online through the “Manage Booking” portal on the Cebu Pacific website: bit.ly/CEBmanageflight. Simply log in using your Getgo account, if applicable, or enter your booking reference to access your booking online. Bookings can be modified up to two (2) hours before the flight.
