Today we became Australian Citizens, only took 17+ years! Don’t worry we are still Brits, now have dual nationality 🇬🇧🇦🇺

Bryon Bay what’s not to love, great beaches, dog beach one side, surfing on the other. Iconic lighthouse, good food & brewery with a very laid back feel to the place.
Was exactly as we thought it would be, sadly couldn’t afford to buy a beach shack here though $$millions 😢

In the lovely little town famous for the landing of Captain Cook in 1770 (explains the name😀)
Enjoyed drinks at sunset in a little bar at the Marina.
Thanks to Linda Venables for the recommendation, great spot.

Reef sleep was fantastic, snorkelling in the afternoon, chilling on the deck with a drink at sunset, watching the marine life including octopus & turtles along side the pontoon then sleeping under the stars at night.
Snorkelling again after breakfast, trip on the submersible & then more chilling out in the sun. Great experience, 5* food & wine 😀

Hanging out at Mission Beach QLD, another great spot, place has a very laid back vibe. Park is right on the beach, has a fab market next door on a Sunday and brewery/pubs/restaurants within a couple of mins walk - what's not to love about this place. Dogs love it too

Taking a trip on the Skyrail from Cairns through the rainforest into Karanda and then coming back on the scenic railway.

Fantastic views and a great day (with no rain!). Very wet up here in FNQ! it's not sunshine and beers all the time 🤣

Crossed over the Daintree river into the spectacular Daintree Rainforest which is 180 million years old.
Onwards to Cape Tribulation.
Dogs back at camp with a lovely Welsh couple 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Having a cool-down on the beach after walking round the markets at Port Douglas.
Have made a few other stops since last post. King Reef Resort at Kurrimine Beach & Cairns.
Currently at the Daintree Beach Resort, beach & rain forest is beautiful like being on an island.

Just spent the week at Onslow - lovely little coastal town in WA in the middle of no where right on the Indian Ocean. Not to be confused with the other Onslow below 🤣🤣

Croc Hunting on the Adelaide River NT with Mark & Sarah

Arrived in Henty Bay Vic today - pity our keys didn't come with us. After much searching and back tracking, realised Louise must of thrown the keys in the bin with the rubbish before we left. Much swearing and a $300 callout from the locksmith later we were back in the caravan laughing and having a beer ! All good in the road to paradise
