On the last day of an amazing year in travel, I am sitting back and reflecting with gratitude on all of the adventures had + adventures planned. It was one for the record books, for sure, and 2025 is looking even brighter.

Some of the highlights of the year were getting to know so many brand new clients who worked with me for the first time, helping bring vacation dreams to life, and seeing photos during trips of places we meticulously planned together that were even more magical and memorable in real life.

Even if there have been some sleepless nights (because hey: when your flight gets canceled or you need a last-minute pivot, I've got your back!), I'm proud of the hard work done and collaboration we've had, and I am so thankful for your continued support over the years.

On Small Business Saturday, I would be remiss without taking a moment to thank each and every one of you who have supported my small business since 2019. I counted up this astounding number recently-- I've planned over 1,000 vacations since beginning this job five and a half years ago. 🤯

Some know this already, but I wrote a "dream" job manifesto of sorts back in high school, and tucked it away in my desk drawer, forgetting about it for a couple of decades, but it somehow made its way into my keepsake box of journals from that time of my life. I found this collection a couple of years ago, and that note too. It said (paraphrased) that my dream was to open a coffee shop that had a travel agency attached to it. There would be desks and tables all around for reading and studying, bookshelves filled with travel guides for inspiration, and my desk would be in the corner, waiting to book their dream trip for anyone who was ready after reading and enjoying their coffee. (Anyone want to invest in this business plan with me?!) ;-)

Sounds a little bit like a dreamy Stars Hollow/Gilmore Girls scenario to me, doesn't it? You can see my influenced inspiration from 2001... ha!

In any case, I'm not sure that the coffee shop part is my dream anymore per se (but wouldn't that be fun?!) but the travel agent part always has been, and I'm so grateful to be living that out now because of each and every one of you.

Thank you for "shopping small" with me these last 5.5 years, and hopefully we'll continue to explore the world together for the next 5.5 years (and beyond)!
