❗️PSA ❗️... A lot of people do not know or understand this...

If your US passport expires within 3-6 months of your travel date from the US to Europe, YOU CANNOT TRAVEL ... and basically to any other international destination!

If your passport expires May 22nd, 2023. Then try to board a flight to Germany on March 12, 2023 from LAX. At the boarding gate you will be denied entry and will be told, “sorry your passport expires in less than 6 months so you’re not going”.

Hard lesson learned: your passport expiration date

your passport expiration date - it’s 6 months before the expiration date (some countries 3 months).

Hopefully someone can learn from this mistake.
