Diamond Princess cruise Day 3: Port Lincoln

This is a rather quiet port but what surprise us was this helicopter tour!!! It was 100 AUD🇦🇺for about 10 mins ride to see the whole port including our lovely ship🚢💙 highly recommend this if you don’t have any plan in Port Lincoln. Oh and don’t forget to have some good seafood here 😍🦪

The Skywalkers disco onboard the 💎Diamond Princess 🚢is definitely my favorite indoor venue.



Located on Deck 17 Aft. This place is perfect for watching the ship sailing in and out the port or simply watching the sea goes by. By day you can see people reading their books here and by night for those who love to dance 💃🏼🕺this is where most after party will be held.

Don’t miss this spot if you’re cruising on some of the Princess ships💙

From the mid pool facing the big movie screen or a gorgeous aft view either in port or at sea… watch a movie with a constant changing sea view or even sunset. How about a nice breakfast facing the beautiful Sydney harbour?😊

I adore so much about these outdoor dining area on the beautiful Diamond Princess 💎 another big reason of why I love this class of ship and cruising 🌅🥹🚢🌊☀️❤️

💎Diamond Princess💎 is part of the grand-class ship but a modified version and it’s called Gem-class . One of the best thing for this class of ship IMO is definitely the numbers of pool they have onboard. 🏊🏻‍♂️I much prefer different small pools spread around the ship rather than just 1 or 2 huge pool for everyone onboard a monster ship nowadays.

This time I got a forward facing balcony room. It’s very lovely and spacious. Despite the age of the ship I think the room is still up to a modern standard and it tick all the boxes for me 🚢😍🐬🇦🇺

Do you always book a balcony room or you’re a person that doesn’t matter what room you’re in as long as you’re on a cruise？ 🚢🥳

Double happiness ship spotting part 2📸

Here’s the Noordam

She’s part of the vista class and together with 3 other sister ship Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, and Westerdam. They represent the four directions of the compass in Dutch.

I like the concept of how they name these ships 🚢

🛳️Ship spotting day🛳️

Today we got two ships in Hong Kong and I’ll go with this one first: Costa Serena 🇮🇹 currently home-ported in Hong Kong doing 4-5 nights cruises to popular destination like Okinawa Japan and Vietnam.

Costa Serena was constructed by Fincantieri, she is part of the Concordia-class of ship and launched in 2007, her sisters includes Costa Pacifica (2009) Costa Favolosa (2011) and Costa Fascinosa (2012). Where’s the other two? That’s the ill-fated Costa Concordia (2007) which sank back in 2012. Last is the Carnival Splendor (2008) which was originally ordered for Costa but transferred to Carnival during constructions.

I recently went on the Iconic RMS Queen Mary😍 built in 1936 and the fact that she’s still here today…Is definitely ☑️off the bucket list !! When I was a child watching the Titanic movie this ship is the closest thing I can ever imagine about it🥰 I spent a lovely afternoon onboard and I can really feel the golden age of the ocean liner era with its decor and design . And it makes me wanna go on a cruise soon 🥹 If you’re a cruise ship or ocean liner geek like me you definitely need to come and visit the Queen Mary Hotel at Long Beach in L.A ! Stay tuned for more🚢
