Pilots had previously declared PANPAN reporting slat asymmetry and they would land at a higher speed.

Newark Tracon was affected by a massive radio failure that shut down all their Tracon frequencies leaving all aircraft flying on their own and unable to communicate with any of the Newark Tracon controllers.

Help needed.

I am in the obligation to ask for your help even though I know the vast majority of my viewers are from abroad Spain.

Spain suffered a natural tragedy on Tuesday with massive rainstorms which flooded thousands of villages, even the City of Valencia.

The count of killed people is +200 at this time and authorities say that the number will continue to increase. Missing people is +500.

No food, no potable water, no electricity. Communications are down. The muddy streets are becoming unhealthy to walk or breath.

The army and forces are on scene bringing relief services and cleaning.
