Hello friends,

Lake Wentworth tours is having a great season. We love the energy all our riders provide us and the smiles and gratitude are the icing on the cake. It warms our hearts, thank you!

I love what one rider said, "I came along to be with the wife. I thought, what could possibly take 1 hour to see and hear on Lake Wentworth: 10 minutes should cover it. Was I wrong, we could have stayed out 2 hours. It was great!"

Ideas:
Full moon is coming up. Evening is a great time to be on the water.

Bring a libation and some snacks and enjoy a late afternoon hour or two shore cruise.

See you on the lake!

Hi friends!

Our 1st year of operation is behind us. We loved all the positive suggestions and look forward to year 2 in 2018. We loved every one of our passengers. All were really nice folks who were very interested in the history, ecology, and preservation of our lakes.

See you around the lake on Memorial Day weekend. In the meantime, enjoy the all the winter holidays with family and friends.

Great time with fellow islanders on a navigation tour yesterday. They called it a "rock tour". I loved it and the trip.

Great trips over the last seven days. Folks from Florida, Brookfield, Wolfeboro, Maine, and Massachusetts. Cooler weather with blue skies is a sure sign of early fall and a great time to be on the lake. Book a tour now for family & friends over the long weekend!

We had a great day taking nice folks out for tours yesterday. A local company had an outing at Wentworth State Park. They hired Lake Wentworth Tours and More so folks could get out on the water and experience beautiful Lake Wentworth.

Great weather, eagle sitings, Loon babies and parents, a little history, a few stories, and bads jokes added to the fun. It must have been good because I saw lots of smiles on kids and adults alike.

The state licensed captain has summered on Lake Wentworth since 1947. He knows many interesting facts and loves to share his knowledge with your family and friends via a small boat cruise unlike any other.

Our Standard Tour:
Safely navigate through the pristine waters for a one hour tour around the beautiful islands to discover nature’s bounty and learn lake history and interesting facts. See loons, eagles, a nature preserve, and amazing scenery. Be ready for bad puns, interesting stories, and a few laughs.

Boat tours are available by appointment only.

Tour times: 9:00am • 10:30am • 1:30pm • 3:00pm

$20.00* per person

Minimum 2 passengers • Maximum 6 passengers

Navigate the Lake • Captain Bob will help you understand the navigation buoy system and help build your confidence. The lakes are known to be called boney because of the many rocks, ledges, and shallow waters that await boat operators. Learn to navigate away from the rocks and shoals and learn to navigate in parts of the lake you might not be familiar with.

History Tour • Learn about the remarkable history of the lakes. Governor John Wentworth, the first camps, folklore, and even rumors about Stamp Act Island. The stories are sure to enlighten and entertain.

Nature Tour • Look for loons, eagles, and other natural inhabitants in and around the lake. Learn about protection efforts and circumvent Stamp Act Island Nature Preserve by water to see nature’s bounty.

Custom Tour • Want to spend more time on the water? Sunset and foliage tours are available on a limited basis (additional charges and restrictions may apply). Other reasons to tour with Lake Wentworth Tours and More include: viewing potential home properties and learning boating skills. The possibilities are endless, just ask!

Personalized Boarding Locations: We will come to you and pick you up at the designated lake location on either Lake Wentworth or Crescent Lake. If you don’t have a lake location we will make convenient meeting arrangements with you.

A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Wentworth Watershed Association to support their efforts to preserve the lake and surrounding watershed.

Well it is really happening. On the 30th we launch our tour endeavor. Many folks have encouraged us and quite hosestly, this is a 3 year dream come true. Thanks to all the folks who helped, encouraged, suggested, and supported as this idea emerged.

More later as we put the finishing touches on our lake adventure.
