"Giraffe" from the Arabic word 'xirapha',meaning 'one who walks swiftly'.When walking,two legs on the same side move together so the entire weight of the giraffe is supported first to one side,then on the other side,Similar to Camels.Their long legs and short body would cause them to trip if they had a normal gait.
