Our dear friend Lyn Johnson informed us that her beloved husband Roger passed last evening.

Lyn and Roger traveled with us back in June.

They were such a joyful and loving couple, and Roger provided some beautiful lighthearted moments.

Roger was a former Naval Aviator that saw combat during the Vietnam War.

He was a longtime professional farmer, and he had a passion for military history and his country.

We are all deeply saddened by his loss.

We are proud to provide funding and a correct Marine Corps Dress Blues uniform for the upcoming ceremony!

On the 249th birthday of the US Marine Corps, relatives of PFC Robert Lutz (KIA 06 Feb 1968) will be donating the casket/transfer case that contained PFC Lutz, to the Wisconsin Veterans Museum in Madison, WI.

In cooperation with American Legion Post-91, Silver Eagles Normandy, LLC was made aware of the ceremony and family members of PFC Lutz requested assistance acquiring a correct Blues uniform.

We were glad to assist!

It's rumored the CBS Channel 58 will be covering the event on 10 Nov 2024.

Complements to our friend Denis Van Den Brink and recommendation to pick-up and use this valuable historical guide!

We recently received a copy from our friend Sarah Pasquier during an official visit at the Carentan Hotel de Ville.

Denis is a valued friend, trusted author and historian, who has created a fabulous reference guide outlining key sites in and around Carentan that had a tremendous impact on the liberation of Normandy in June 1944.

If you cannot travel with a trusted guide-tour vendor, we highly recommend this new book to assist in a visit to the region!

It has been a remarkable week, and it's not done yet!

As usual, our guests are visiting sites no other groups take the time to learn about, and get VIP treatment by our local friends.

One visit included a special reception and personal es**rt by Ms. Sarah Pasquier, the Events Manager for the city of Carentan.

Our Gold Star family members were presented with special "Friendship Certificates" recognizing the bond Carentan continues to have with our armed forces and families who have sacrificed so much.

It is a privilege to make lifelong memories for our clients!

Germany and Octoberfest, September 2025!

Based on several requests, we will be conducting a Germany only tour in September 2025. This tour will also include Octoberfest in Munich!

If you're interested and have time, there will be an informal planning session tomorrow night (06 Aug) at Mainstream Pub located at 404 W. Main St in Waukesha at 5:00pm.

Topics will include sites on the itinerary (historical, military and cultural), firm dates of travel and overview of Octoberfest.

But at Silver Eagles Normandy, LLC WE DO NOT MAKE PROFIT where great Americans died! It's that simple!!! 🇺🇸

Tips from our latest trips in June came to $400USD. Those monies were immediately donated to the 502nd Infantry, 101st Airborne reunion taking place on 05 October just outside of Ft. Campbell.

This IS NOT at "look at us post." It's about a company that is transparent and preserves the legacy of units that were the tip of the spear in WWII and today.

Our group's wonderful and educational trip continues in the beautiful region of Bavaria!

The crew had some well deserved free time over the past 24 hours to explore the fantastic "Spa Town" of Bad Reichenhall, Germany.

Great food, cold drinks and shopping for those who needed "retail therapy!"

This morning we met with our partner Tom from "Discover Eagle's Nest Tours" and he provided an outstanding private tour of the Obersalzberg area! We were able to tour the newly opened bomb shelter ares which have been made safe for visiting.

The crew will have more free time for great Bavarian food and drink before we set sights on Salzburg, Austria!
