A NIGHTMARE ON LAKE ST CLAIR!🚨

Gino's Surf is hosting the Halloween party of the year on Saturday, October 19th. The doors will open at 8:00 pm and the fun will go until 2:00 am. The Macomb County Fallen Heroes Memorial Ceremony was held in Downtown Mount Clemens Wednesday, September 11, 2024. This year's ceremony honored Macomb County Sheriff's Office Corrections Officer Michael Pulizzi. Officer Pulizzi, lost his battle with cancer earlier this year, was remembered for his dedicated service and commitment to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office. His inclusion in the ceremony signifies the deep respect and honor that the law enforcement community holds for those who serve, even in the face of personal health battles. The ceremony, like others at the memorial, is a tribute to fallen heroes and an opportunity for the community, family, and colleagues to come together in remembrance of their sacrifice.

On 9/11, F-16s were returning to Selfridge from training missions when highjacked planes began attacking the United States. The aircraft landed here at home to refuel, re-arm and begin flying combat air patrols over the Detroit region.

Today, Air National Guard units continue to protect the U.S., providing 94% of homeland air defense.
