Good day!

We are super excited to finally share the fantastic news that Liane’ Roux Heart Fund will get her long awaited, lifesaving, open heart operation tomorrow morning (22 April). Doctor Schurmann briefed her parents earlier tonight and she will be going in tomorrow round about 9 am for a six-hour operation.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the medical staff, nurses and doctors Netcare Sunninghill Hospital that will operate on Liane tomorrow morning. We pray calmness and a clear mind over all of you. Our prayers are with the Roux family Quintin Roux and Ashley Roux for the big day ahead. I ask that everyone pray with us for Liane, the doctors and her parents for the next few weeks. Maritzia van Vreden and I can testify that God is good, and the same God that saved our Janko will be with Liane tomorrow.

Just to explain Liane’s current financial situation to all that have followed her journey. We are still in the process of raising funds for Liane. We are privileged enough to get her the help she so desperately needs without paying the full amount, a total of R 497 500.00 has already been paid. There will however be various other cost involved in the healing process such as blood test, x-rays, physio, hospital cost, medicine and so forth, it is for that reason that we ask that everybody that can, please contribute to Liane’s fund.

On that note, I want to thank every single person that has given over the past few months. Without the funds received this would literally not be possible. Money has come in from all over the world, fund raisers were held, and events were organized in a matter of days. From every R50 received, to large contributions of thousands of rands we want to say THANK YOU, you have saved a life!!!
