When did you fall in love with the North Carolina Coast? This is me circa 1991 with my Grandma Juanita. My Grandparents used to rent a big house for our entire family ever year, we had the best times on those trips. In 1998 while on our annual vacation my Grandfather got caught in a rip current and did not make it out. The beach was never quite the same for us, but the cherished impact those trips had on my childhood has fueled everything I do on the OBX. It’s personal, I know who’s watching.
