Joining a roster of exceptional Filipino photographers, Aljon Tugaoen, a second-year law student of Mariano Marcos State University, emerged as one of the grand winners in a photography competition sponsored by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

Tugaoen’s ‘Over and Under the Rocks of Pangil,’ was announced as among the 12 best photos under the conventional category yesterday, September 13.

His photo, featuring a golden hour silhouette presentation of Pangil rock formation in Currimao, Ilocos Norte, is now part of an exhibit at the National Museum of National History in Manila.

ANOTHER GOOD NEWS FROM CONG AMB!

Aside from the Tunong Dunong Program of the Commission of Higher Education (CHED), here are other GUIDELINES ON THE STUDENT MONETARY ASSISTANCE FOR RECOVERY AND TRANSITION (SMART) PROGRAM.

The SMART Grant is in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act No. 7722, otherwise known as the "Higher Education Act of 1994" and by virtue of Commission en b a n Resolution No. 112-2023 dated March 9, 2023, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Again, this is a GRANT -- a one-time financial assistance to students in undergraduate programs to assist them in the completion of their education/attainment of academic success as the world moves on from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the effects of pandemic, the said program will increase the number of successful students to graduate through this kind of scholarship.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF LIST OF BENEFICIARIES will be on SEPTEMBER 8,2023. Please see attached requirements and visit Cong. AMB's Office at 10 N Lacub, Marcos Museum, Batac City. See you!

Hello and Welcome Back to School, Students!

This Academic Year 2023-2024, the Office of Congressman Angelo Marcos Barba, through the help of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) via UniFAST -- an attached agency of CHED mandated to implement programs under Republic Act No. 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA) including the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP).

This School Year's qualified TDP grantee is entitled to receive P7,500.00 pesos per semester or an equivalent of P15,000.00 pesos for one academic year.

TDP is now open for 1st Semester of AY 2023-2024 until September 8, 2023. Please visit Cong. AMB's Office at 10 N Lacub, Marcos Museum, Batac City and please bring the requirements. See you!
