I’m so excited about what I’m working on this week! (My office view today doesn’t hurt either 😉)

After a bunch of research and curating I think I’ve finally nailed down the perfect itinerary for my clients to Jamaica for a 40th birthday trip. 🎂

They wanted luxury, relaxation and a wonderful spa and I made it my mission to find the perfect resort that would deliver on that type of experience.
Part of their itinerary will include a couples massage.

I think I’m almost ready for the big reveal to my clients! Wish me luck. 🍀

You know my flight this morning was too early when I arrived at my connecting airport almost 3 hours later and it wasn’t even 9:00 am! 🤦‍♀️ Is it nap time yet? 🤣

But it’s all worth it! I’m off on a work trip to see Antigua and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s sacrifices like these that I am willing to do for my clients! 🥱🏝️😉

Of course I’ll be posting pictures of the beautiful island and resorts I see and stay at! (Soon as I get that nap)

ASTA River Cruise Expo came together with over 1200 agents, 9 river cruise companies and 12 different ships to help us be able to make our clients dream vacations come true.

So far I have had the chance to hear from top executives from these companies and others about how their companies can make those trips happen as smoothly as possible.

Getting some work done while I wait for my flight to Amsterdam for the River Cruise Expo.

Can’t wait to be going for the second year in a row! It is such a great opportunity for me to meet with important industry contacts, learn about so many cruise lines, tour and experience 11 different ships and learn as much as I can so that I can best help my clients know what the right vacation options are for their needs.

Happy New Year!

This has been a year of many challenges and many great experiences! Professionally I’ve had the chance to visit many more new destinations and try lots of new experiences through great travel partners. Two of my favorites were seeing Alaska with my extended family on Celebrity and taking a small group on a wine river cruise in France.

I’m so excited for this new year and plans I have in the making! I can’t wait to start my new private group coming in January, more wine group trips, more training opportunities, another trip to the annual river cruise convention and many more amazing opportunities to grow professionally.

May your new year be bright and bring you as many opportunities to grow and prosper!

Drinking wine while sailing down a river in France.

It doesn’t get much better than this! Except maybe sipping the wine while sitting in the vineyard and listening to the the winemaker explain how they cultivated the grapes, processed them and created the delicious wine you are drinking on the land that has been used to grow grapes to make some of the world’s finest wine for centuries.

I love wine! I love drinking it. I love learning about it. I love meeting the people who make it. I love visiting the places it comes from. It’s a passion of mine!

Time to take a break from unpacking at my new home and head off to France. I’ll be with a small group on an AmaWaterways cruise down the Rhône in the south of France.

I can’t wait for the wine tasting excursions and the special private events we will have as a group!

Sunsets at sea are my favorite!

I know I haven’t posted in forever!!!! Life’s been crazy with a big move and lots of travel. But I’ve had the opportunity to cruise now for the second time this month on Celebrity, and I’m in love!!!!

Not a bad way to spend the evening after a hot day of working on group cruises and trips to the Caribbean.

I love sitting on my porch here in the mountains on nights like this! It’s raining, there’s thunder in the distance, I can feel the breeze through the screens. It’s one of my favorite places to be and reminds me what all of our hard work is for.

Today’s where where in the world does Dana’s office go takes me to the suburbs of Philadelphia on a last minute house hunting trip.

We ended up selling our house in MKE before we even listed it (which is great!), but now we need to buy one in this crazy market. Wish us luck!

But while working in the couple hours between showings tonight, I thought I’d order something small to nibble on here at the hotel bar. 🤣 This platter is enough to feed a couple people!

I had a great supplier show yesterday where I reconnected with supplier friends and learned about new ones that will help me provide great experiences for my clients.

I think I’m going to start posting where I’m working from. Some people post their fun locations for things…like I have a friend that posts beautiful places she has drinks ( 😉). So maybe this will be my thing 🤣

I seem to find myself working in tons of different places, few of which are ever my office and many involve a drink 🤦‍♀️😂🥂I swear I’m working!

The food on Virgin Voyages is amazing!

There is no main dining restaurant. It’s all specialty dining and all included in the cost of your cruise fare.

Tonight we are eating at Gumbae. It’s Korean barbecue style food but the most social dining you can imagine. You are seated with a group whether you come with one or not. And along with great food you have fun playing drinking games.

What a nice surprise to come back to in our cabin!

Champagne and charcuterie before the scarlet party on is a great way to start the night! Our butler Petra is the best!

I have gotten the chance to see so many amazing animals so far here in Costa Rica including this howler monkey in the trees above our resort. They make for a very interesting and disturbing alarm clock at 4:45 in the morning.

Are you a beach or a pool person?
