Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is most delightful when strolling along the expansive ponds, lined with beautiful trees and traditional bridges. Three adjacent ponds line the south side of the garden but the most impressive one may be the Tamamo Pond, unchanged since its time as a garden to a feudal lord in the Edo Period.

Take your time admiring the sun reflected on the water at Shinjuku Gyoen and while you peacefully bask in the middle of Tokyo 🌿
