FLY TO THE SUNSHINE ☀️

As Covid restrictions thankfully begin to ease, it could be time for you to think about booking a holiday or mini break this year , or plan ahead for 2022.
We are pleased to say our lovely 2 bedroomed sea view apartment in Isla Canela in Spain will now be available again , and is ready to rent.
The apartment has always been fastidiously cleaned and sanitised between lettings, and we are now taking extra measures to ensure our guests safety and peace of mind, leaving a 72 hour gap separating departures and arrivals.
Isla Canela is a small island located south of the town of Ayamonte in Andalusia. It is in the beautiful province of Huelva on Spain’s western tip. It is a 50 minute drive from Faro airport .
The apartment is five minutes from the 7km beach, where you can stroll by the sea, or take a bike ride along the path . There are lovely beach restaurants to walk to, for a leisurely lunch, or evening dinner watching the sunset. A small marina is within close proximity to sample the variety of tapas on offer.
Nearby is the small town of Ayamonte, where there are plenty of shops , and an abundance of restaurants to choose from.
The location is ideal for anyone looking for peace and relaxation in a beautiful setting.

The fully furnished apartment is on the 4th floor , sleeps 4 people , and has a front line sea view from the private balcony.
Wi Fi is available. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and comes equipped with towels and bed linen . ( no beach towels)
Within the picturesque landscaped gardens there is a large swimming pool with a life guard ( open in season), plus tennis courts . A gate from the pool leads directly onto the beach.
Isla Canela is a hidden gem tucked away from the tourist hotspots…..
As there is so much space there is no problem with social distancing…
You may just prefer to sit on the private balcony , taking in the sea view, and enjoying the tranquility.

A lovely half an hour beach front walk takes to the delightful restaurant Chiringuito La Sonrisa, where you will find a lovely varied menu , and a wonderful warm welcome close to the sea ..

The weather in Isla Canela has been beautiful the last couple of weeks ..
Warm enough to sit on the beach during the afternoons , and the many beach restaurants are now beginning to open .
Hire a bike , or stroll along the beach pathway enjoying the relaxing atmosphere by the sea , in the early Spring sunshine ...

Where is Isla Canela ?

Isla Canela is a small island located south of the town of Ayamonte in Andalusia. The mouth of the river Guadiana is next to the island . It is in the beautiful province of Huelva, on Spain’s south western tip. It is known as the coast of light , and only a 50 minute drive from Faro airport .
Isla Canela is next to the Guadiana river , and and has a resident population of countless species of birds , that feed rest and breed there .
The apartment is five minutes from the beautiful 7km beach, where you can walk along the path walkway/cycle path , or stroll along the beach by the sea.
Within walking distance there is a small Marina, where restaurants can be found , together with some local shops . Bikes can be hired here to explore , and you may enjoy to take a boat trip during the Summer months .
Opposite the Marina is the small fishing village of Punta del Moral , where the local fisherman bring in their daily catch .
The location is ideal for anyone looking for peace and relaxation , in a beautiful setting.
