The Canarian airline Binter has reached a financing agreement with Spanish banks. The airline will invest more than 467 million dollars in purchasing six E195-E2 aircraft, which will be received in 2024 and 2025 and with which the airline will reach 16 jets of this model.

The European Parliament approved this Wednesday a new regulation to promote sustainable fuels in aviation. There will be a kerosene tax on flights operating within the EU. The Canary Islands and outermost regions are exempt from the tax for now.

More than 9.6 million air seats have been scheduled for the Canary Islands for winter 2023/4. That is 7.6% more than a year before. The average accommodation price is 25% more than pre-COVID winter 2019/20.
