fun fact about me, I’m a homebody who just happens to plan trips all over the world. I don't get bit by the travel bug often, but this heavenly destination has been at the top of my must-see list for as long as I can remember. I read a quote recently that said "when judgement day comes, the people of Amalfi will have no change in life, for they are already living in paradise." sign me up for a little heaven on earth!

🍋where I’d stay: hotel santa caterina

🍋what I’d do: I’m a less-is-more kind of girl, so I’m thinking along the lines of trying local pasta dishes and ending my days with a sunset aperol spritz! when life gives you lemons... drink the limoncello and people watch from the balcony!

🍋why it's on my list: Italy makes me think of my grandparents. it's a trip I wish I could've taken with them!

🌿 set in two adjacent buildings across Perry Lane, this newer property feels like it has been around for some time— combining fun wallpapers, leather furniture, plantation shutters, and an expansive art collection that creates a retro feel in the deep south!

☁️ we loved the complimentary signature cocktail from The Wayward Bar upon arrival

☁️ we were beyond impressed by happy hour at the in-house restaurant “The Emporium”— a French bistro restaurant with a southern flare. this spot did not disappoint, boasting not only a fabulous menu but a gorgeous bar, fun little wine shop, and small deli and gelato stand (and yes we got late night ice cream and a bottle of wine at the end of the night to enjoy in our room!)

☁️ we spent the next day enjoying the rooftop bar and pool before checking out and continuing on with our trip
..this is for sure a new favorite property in Savannah and we can’t wait to get back!

SPRING BREAK SPOTLIGHT

We are following up Park City with somewhere warm!

We recently had clients return from the Bahamas! Two brothers came to us wanting a fishing trip and wow did we love planning this!

We sent Chris and his brother to the Green Turtle Club Resort and Marina on Green Turtle Cay - a three mile island just off of the coast of Great Abaco.

After arriving via boat, they checked into their resort and picked up their golf cart which they used for the entire week to explore the island.

Trip Highlights Included:
*Seeing the famous Bahamian pigs on No Name Cay
*The food and drinks at the Green Turtle Club
*And of course the fishing!

We had so much fun planning this trip for the Lawhead's! While the EE team is the farthest thing from fisherman - we might just be headed down to the Green Turtle Club soon to try it out!

SPRING BREAK SPOTLIGHT

We are going to begin highlighting some of our spring break trips as our clients start returning home. The Ever East team planned a great range of trips this spring break season and we can't wait to share them all with you!

We are starting off this spotlight series and taking you to Park City, Utah.

The Carr Family came to us wanting to break outside of their usual beach spring break trip and head out west for some family skiing. We immediately thought Park City was the perfect location for them!

Trip Highlights Included:
*An afternoon snowmobiling with Park City Peaks Snowmobiling
*Ski School for the kids while mom and dad enjoyed the relaxing spa at Waldorf Astoria Park City
*A horse-drawn sleigh ride up Park City Mountain to a gourmet western-style dinner experience with live entertainment

We had so much fun planning this trip for the Carr's and are so happy they had an amazing time trying something new and trusting the EE team with planning this special trip!

🌿NEW KID ON THE (cutest) BLOCK🌿
..we visited Charleston, SC and stayed at the amazing Hotel Emeline — who first opened its doors July 1, 2020 and has been stunning its guests ever since ✨
..we were greeted with a chilled bottle of wine and delicious chocolates in our gorgeous room. the deep tones and mid-century modern vibes were everything, and the room layouts were thoughtful to provide the perfect mix of relaxation and space. the record player was just the sweetest cherry on top! 🤍
..we enjoyed their complimentary coffee service each morning while we were getting ready for our days exploring Charleston. we would then follow up with an additional specialty coffee at Clerks Coffee - a light and airy coffee shop located inside the Emeline lobby. our fave was the Oat Milk Latte and Avocado Toast ☕️🥑
..in the afternoons we would head back to the hotel and have a drink in their courtyard. the cocktails were incredible and again, the vibe and decor was just perfection. the "Tear Down This Wall" cocktail - altos tequila, chinola passion fruit, lime, tajin, and bitters - was unreal! we didn't have a chance to eat at their restaurant Fannie and the Fox, but it is on our list to come back to when we visit Charleston again 🥂
..highly recommend renting the complimentary adorable green beach cruisers to ride all around Charleston. we visited Charleston Battery, Rainbow Row, and a few shops along the historic King Street 🚲

we spent last weekend in Sarasota, FL at the gorgeous and we are still on cloud 9! ☁️
this was the PERFECT little escape, with everything from beautiful grounds to amazing dining and peaceful bike rides to town. keep reading!

✨the check-in process was quick and the staff was so welcoming 🤍

✨booking through we received a complimentary upgrade to a Marina View room. balcony views were stunning 😍

✨minutes after getting to our room, we were wowed by complimentary welcome wine and cookies, as well as a hand written note which was so sweet! 💌

✨on-site covid procedures were solid— staff was constantly cleaning, there was a one family per elevator guideline, signs were located around the resort reminding guests to wear masks and stay socially distanced 👌🏽

✨room service was available and you could request a contactless delivery 🥞

✨we loved the on-property dining at . by booking through we received a voucher for a $48 value to spend on breakfast which covered our meals / coffee each morning. we also did dinner here our first night. most of the seating is outside, so really great for covid times! the restaurant looks over the bay and was the perfect sunset spot 🌅

✨another perk of booking through EET, we received a $100 resort credit that we used for food and drinks by the pool! 🍹

✨oh the dreamy, dreamy Beach Club 🤩 the hotel has a pool on the main property, but there is an entire Beach Club about 5-10 minutes away (3 miles). they have a complimentary shuttle that departs every hour on the hour. service there was 10/10. everything from the food and drinks, to the pool, beach and tiki bar was beyond. it was our favorite!🌴

✨the hotel offers complimentary bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. bikes are great to ride to St. Armands for lunch or around DT Sarasota 🚲
