Some advice. If you are in Lisbon go early to the gate. They have a passport control after all the shops and lounges. And the passport control is often understaffed. First time 6 others and I missed the flight because there was one guy working and he spent about 15 mins giving one agent grief. This time there were two agents but again, one person was being given the third degree.

Even though I left shortly after they announced the gate number, I arrived at my gate during final call.

Travel is what I do and what I live for.

My mother married a Scotsman and moved us to London when I was seven. The marriage and London didn't work out but for me, the experience was magical, and living overseas and the subsequent trip back to the US by way of the warm Caribbean started my lifelong love of travel.

Since then, I have traveled to more than sixty countries and lived in four. I have done solo traveling, group travel, family travel, budget, active, luxury and cruises. I've been chased by rhinos in Royal Chitwan National Park in Nepal, ridden a camel in the Arabian desert, witnessed a cheetah teaching her cubs to hunt in Tanzania, stayed in a hotel room made of ice in Romania, the list goes on.

I have taken many friends with me on my jaunts and journeys over the years, and pride myself on sharing the magic of experiential travel with as many people as I can. Let me do the same for you!
