If you took one of my Ghetto tours you know how much I love sharing my Grandma’s Shoa stories. I used to meet her during my tours and she loved sharing her stories to my groups. Unfortunately She didn’t leave her apartment very often in the last 4 years.
BH today I was so lucky!
I could meet her and she loved telling my group how she survived the first roundup of Rome in 1943.

Last week I had the honor and pleasure of taking on a tour a delegation of the World Jewish Congress
We visited the main city highlights and then we visited the very meaningful exhibit “9 ottobre 1982” about the terror attack that took place at the Great Synagogue in 1982.

The Director of the Olga Melasecchi and the Restorer are putting back on display one of the Crowns that belong to the Collection of the Jewish Museum.
This Crown and many other crowns, Torah Covers and Rimonims have been used during the High Holidays in the Synagogues of Rome.
Isn’t it incredible that nowadays we still use items that date back the Ghetto times?
