It’s so overdue. Even if you don’t think that it is, it is. And if you know that it is overdue- it is LONG OVERDUE. And that was where Jeff and I were at!

Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty for doing it and certainly don’t make yourself feel guilty for doing it. You both can’t pour from an empty cup.✌🏼

🫰I love these ships. I LOVE them. And anyone that I have sent on these ships comes back an avid sailor. ••

If you’re a client of mine- you know that I will not just book you a room/ship/vacation anywhere. In fact, I have lost clients because I refused to book them on the cruise line or at a resort they were insistent upon booking. I want you guys to go on safe, fun, and valued vacations. somehow got a rep as a “weird,” or “young,” or “party,” cruise line.

It👏🏼Is👏🏼NOT👏🏼true. Not at all. I am a 95 year old woman stuck in a 30-ish 😉 year old’s body. I don’t do party cruises. I’m not THAT fun!

Walt the Dreamer ✨ a new statue that debuted on Walt’s Birthday of this year.

This new statue represents Walt later in his life when he was dreaming up the overall Florida Project and the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. (EPCOT)

He sits, enjoying the beauty of his realized dream: a park he envisioned but never saw, until now.

If you’re a “”Disney person,” this statue is moving. Be prepared for a genuine smile and maybe even a tear as you sit next to Uncle Walt 🤍

This week, I booked a trip that put me above my travel "sales," goal for not just this year… but my FIVE YEAR goal.(the quotations- because this isn't a sales job for me, Disney sells itself and I just make it stress-free) And as soon as I hit confirm, tears stared to well up in my eyes. 🥹 BIG SHOCK, I know- a light breeze makes me cry. But I had a serious- "did that just happen?" moment.

A few years ago I started this as something fun to do during Covid. I booked 6 trips that year. 3 of them were mine. .wallacee was the first- and I will never forget how proud I was to book her trip(and her next one!😊) 2 years later, I have sent over 300 families to Disney as well as other locations that I love.

There are 2 good sit down meals at Magic Kingdom. Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen is one of the 2.

👉the cheese bread appetizer is a must. It’s not on the menu, but ask for it. Thank me later
👉Dan Dan noodles. 10/10
👉 drink a water or two while you’re here. The food is good but it is not light on the salt.
👉 request to sit in the S.E.A. Room- it’s quieter!

More than just the parks…

Nobody falls in love with Disney by walking into the parks at age 2. For most of us, our love for Disney started with the movies. A good old fashioned “Sundays with Walt,” or a VHS that was always in the VCR on repeat. And the toys, the books, the games, the stuffies, the dress up clothes all followed. And then…. If you were fortunate enough… you went to a Disney theme park to experience all the Disney fun as a family.

For 100 years- Disney’s passion has been storytelling.

The greatest stories live forever You made this dream come true.

I’m not one for people who post these lengthy posts when someone they love passes. But I want everyone who follows this account to know him, and take a lesson from his life.

To know Tommy Carhart was to love Tommy Carhart. For those of you who knew Tommy, you know that he was practically a brother to my sister Gina. For her, Tommy started as a client at her work at Riverside Industries. He quickly became her friend and then became family. For a lot of her days, wherever you saw Gina - you most likely saw Tommy right next to her. Because of this, Tommy became family to all of us. My parents, my grandparents, Jeff, we all loved Tommy as if he were family- because he was.

Life’s challenges never slowed Tommy down. And when I tell you that he was effortlessly one of the funniest people I have ever met, I genuinely mean it. I have so many videos of Gina and Tommy laughing with eachother like school kids at a sleepover.

But Tommy’s greatest quality, and ultimately his biggest challenge, was his heart. Tommy loved unconditionally. He loved EVERYONE. All he wanted to do every day was wake up, and spend every minute with the people he loved the most. And on some days, he was very persistent with this desire 😅But I can say this with confidence- he loved my sister with his whole heart.

This post is not an attempt for you to feel pity for me. I know that Tommy is in Heaven with some of my favorite people. This post is to encourage you to do 1 thing. Be more like Tommy Carhart. Everyday. Wake up and make spending time with your loved ones your #1 priority. And never take that for granted. You never know what tomorrow will bring or who it will take.

Thank you, .bates1 for bringing Tommy into so many of our lives. Our hearts are forever full with his love.

The post about Grandparents at Disney Cruise Line👏🏼

It’s simple. Take Grandma and Grandpa with you.

I will be the first to say it. My parents are young and fit- and the parks can be a lot for them. Long days, tons of walking, and the some the rides can be triggering.

How do you experience all the Disney magic without all the hustle and bustle? A Disney cruise IS THE ANSWER👏🏼

🛳️A Disney cruise is where “park days,” turn in to “port days,” and the whole family can sit on the beach or explore an island.
🛳️A Disney Cruise is where hustling across the park or to another resort for dinner turns into taking an elevator to deck 5 and sitting down for an amazing dinner experience.
🛳️A Disney Cruise is where your kids don’t wait for 45 mins to just give characters a high five- they PLAY with Disney characters at the kids clubs! 🤯 giving the adults time to explore the ship’s amazing lounges!
🛳️A Disney Cruise is where the whole family can watch Broadway style shows, or Disney movies on the upper deck.

Simply put, a Disney cruise is the best way to do Disney with multi generations. Bring Grandma and Grandpa - thank me later.

This is one of our favorite things to do! Specifically at the parks.

If you plan on snacking throughout the day - or you simply have a sit down meal later that night- eat a kid's meal at one of the quick service spots!

Most of the time, my kids will share a kids meal and sometimes Jeff and I will just order something from the kids meal as well.

Here is why:
•you don't have to be a certain age to order from the kids menu at QUICK SERVICE locations
•kids meals typically come with an entree, 2 sides, and a beverage.
•adults meals for an entree, 2 sides and a beverage would easily be double the cost (and double the amount of food in the entree)

Our favorite places to order from the kids menu are:
🏰Pecos Bill's - Magic Kingdom
⭐️Woody's Lunch Box - Hollywood Studios
🌐La Cantina de San Angel- EPCOT
🌳Pizzafari- Animal Kingdom
🌳Satu'li Canteen- Animal Kingdom

Morocco is my favorite Pavillion at Epcot for so many reasons. It seems to be never ending, the further back you go- the more secluded it becomes. It is one of our favorite places to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the parks, and just be for a second. Grab a snack, grab a drink, and explore Morocco the next time you are in Epcot! Did you know- In order to ensure the authenticity of the Morocco’s presentation in the World Showcase, King Hassan Il of Morocco sent some of his finest craftsmen, or maalems, to work on site with the Imagineers to generate the hundreds of thousands of square feet of carved stone and tile work required to give the place the appropriate finish. No detail is missed with Disney. Did you know that there are over 2,900 different sounds files that play throughout Walt Disney World’s Galaxy’s Edge? From the sounds of wookies talking, to aircraft takeoffs/flyovers, all of these sounds are used to make Galaxy’s Edge a convincing reality for all guests. Sound changes throughout the day while you enter different parts of Batuu. For example in the wooded areas you will hear different types of creatures and sounds in the bushes - but near the Droid Depo, you will hear the music score and droid sounds. If you have been here before, you know exactly what I am talking about! Another fun fact? John Williams won a grammy for the score he wrote specifically for this theme park. Read that again. He wrote an entire score to be used as background music in a theme park.... and it was so good, that he won a grammy for it! Impressive! Want to listen? search for: The Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite.
