I had the privilege of staying at the Boardwalk Villas at Walt World. I stayed in a 1 bedroom villa and I would do anything to get back there! I was only there 3 nights but definitely got a taste of what this resort had to offer.
It easily could work for a family of 4, with a kitchenette, full fridge, stove, and plenty of space to cook and eat meals on those days you’re not in the parks.
The balcony was nice, our view was of the main entrance to the hotel, but there were views on the other side of the water where you’d see fireworks from Epcot or Hollywood Studios (depending on where you stayed!)
As far as transportation I used my two feet and walked to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. When I was tired I took the ferry. I popped over to Disney Springs using the bus system.
For dining I chose the boardwalk deli (got there late so walked in as they were closing). But I ate dinner the following night at Trattoria Al Forno, then returned for breakfast the next day! I will find a way to return there when I come with the kids! YUM.
