The Cayuga-Seneca Canal has officially closed for the season! Thank you to all the boaters, cyclists, and any canal enthusiasts for visiting us this year! We look forward to next boating season in Spring 2024!

Oswego, New York, is located on the shoreline of Lake Ontario in Upstate New York 📍. Located about 35 miles northwest of Syracuse. And 56 miles southwest of its neighboring shoreline town of Watertown; Oswego promotes itself as "The Port City of Central New York." 🌊 Oswego is also home to four of the seven locks on the Oswego River, a River connecting the Erie Canal to Lake Ontario.

Oswego is a great place to book a weekend visit for tasty sweets🧁, breathtaking views🌅, and deep and immersive history!

The William Seward house provides informational history on William Seward, the Secretary of State during the Lincoln Presidency 🇺🇸. And takes visitors on tours through Seward’s breathtaking estate surrounded by two acres of filled gardens 🌸 and trees 🌲. The jaw-dropping interior has been restored to its original beauty and features an unmatched collection of Seward’s political and travel souvenirs ✈️ , decorative arts 🎨, and photographs 📸 that spans William Seward’s personal life, and nearly forty-year political career! ✨🤩

Museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm, with tours running on the hour. 😁

The unique city of Auburn is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. About 25 miles from Syracuse 🏘️ and only 15 miles from its neighboring town of Seneca Falls. There is plenty of history planted in the area, for everyone! Auburn offers a great number of museums 🏛️, historic sites and national landmarks! 🌳
