Woo! 3 more ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews. We have really enjoyed communicating with our guests this year. We are also SO thankful to everyone for taking such good care of our house. We have 2 more rentals left for the season, and we’ll be sad to see it go. But, we have some good ideas in store for next season and we are already excited. Stay tuned!!!

Today in the Duck Town Park we got to meet Riptide, a 5 year old rescued wild horse from Corolla! The people at the make it their mission to protect, conserve, and manage the Corolla wild horses (Bankers) that still roam in the Northern Outer Banks.

We checked out the on Saturday and found this painting of John’s in Kitty Hawk. There are so many special places in the Outer Banks that still look and feel just like they used to so many years ago, and John’s is one of them. Make sure to check out the KDH Co-Op for local art made right in the Outer Banks. I know we’ll be back soon 🌞

Game day!! We are cleaning up and improving our downstairs game room for our guests. We’ll be adding some of our favorites….if you have any favorites, drop them below!! Also, Santa brought us a mini pool table that’s fun for all ages. How did he know we needed one? 🎅🏻 Next up, some cool mood lighting to set the vibe.

Spiny Dogfish SZN! 🦈 These feisty little sharks have migrated south from Canada and New England to set up camp in here in the Outer Banks, keeping the winter fishing season exciting. Not to worry, we release them immediately and they swim away with their fins out, looking like a real life miniature Jaws. They were once overfished and since the females can’t reproduce until 12 years old, it’s important that we do our part to help slowly rebuild the population. Reel one in to wow the kids, and throw them back quickly to minimize any harm.
