About this space
'And Breathe...'
Less than ten minutes drive to the National Trust's Kynance Cove, Lizard point and the dog-friendly Kennack Sands, you’ll love my light, airy chalet! Equipped with everything you might need for your holiday, it's a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding beaches and stunning coastline! My place is great for couples, small families & solo adv
enturers. Sitting on the edge of a nature reserve, shake off those city vibes and restore your equilibrium! Gorgeous wood laminate flooring in the full living area, and stone tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. A fabulous shower, and everything you might need in the kitchen, including a slow cooker and juicer! There are 2 pull out single beds in the living area, and a lovely solid dining table. The 3 seater corner sofa is super comfy too! The chalet is warm, peaceful and fully double glazed. The cosy double bedroom has a new firm mattress with a memory foam mattress topper. There are a selection of books which you can read while you're here, and top DVD's too! Basic WiFi broadband internet is included. One well behaved small to medium sized dog is welcome by arrangement, at extra cost of £50 per stay: please bring everything you need for your dog, including towels, and don't allow them on any of the furniture. Electricity seems to be fairly economical here, using a pound coin meter (found in the bathroom). Please remember to bring £1 coins for this! Approximate cost per day varies from £1 (in the warmer months) to £5 (winter months). Recently renovated, and located so close to the beautiful Kynance Cove, Lizard Point (most southerly point of the British Isles), Kennack Sands, Mullion Cove, and many other magic little coves, 'And Breathe....' Chalet is one of just 32 Holiday Chalets situated by a nature reserve and an old airfield. There is no clubhouse, shop or bar on site, which makes it a very peaceful site in the very Heart of the Lizard Peninsula. You can walk to Kynance cove through the Nature reserve and join the beautiful coastal path. Guest access
You have your own self-contained space and although compact, it feels spacious, and is perfect for a couple/small family/solo traveller getaway to the amazing and soul-stirring Cornwall! Other things to note
There is no washing machine or dryer. The electricity runs on a meter system requiring £1 coins. For the work-from-home 'Digital Nomads' out there, this is the perfect place for your holiday, as we have broadband WiFi connection!! There is a path to the sea via the Nature reserve adjacent to the Chalet, however this is a rough journey that takes an hour and unless you are a seasoned walker that enjoys a challenge I wouldn't recommend it. You do get to Kynance Cove if you make it so there is light at the end of this walk, and a pastie or loaded hot chocolate! Parking at Kynance Cove and Lizard Point is free for National Trust members. I became a member and for me it has been very well worth it!
