The signs of a believer are five:
1. Performing 51 units of prayer daily, consisting of 17 obligatory prayers and 34 recommended prayers.
2. Pilgrimage to Imam Hussain (PBUH) on Arbaeen, the 40th day following Ashura.
3. Wearing a ring on the right hand.
4. Placing the forehead on the earth during Sajdah in prayer.
5. Saying “Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim” aloud during the prayer.

Three years ago, we received a unique invitation for Arbaeen through the shrine of Imam Musa Kazim AS. The inner shrine had been closed for 8 months due to COVID, and a group of 20 zawaar, including myself, were given the extraordinary opportunity to pay our heartfelt respects. It was a surreal moment to touch the shrine and to be invited during that time.

For the first time in many years, the shrine now allows phones inside. This picture captures the zari covered in green cloth during COVID times and today without it.

We are forever grateful to our Imams and the shrine’s management for this incredible opportunity.
