I am very excited (and a little delayed) in sharing the news that Gabby Higham has joined the Numinous Luxury Travel Representation team as Director of Sales. Gabby will be spearheading a lot of our MICE business now and also taking on some of our boutique luxury properties also. I am thrilled to bits with this appointment and Gabby has already made great headway in terms of contributing to our team success. Welcome Gabby. 🎉
Hugs,
Tx

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2025, the Canavas Collection is centred around the Chaidemenos family who were among the first families to introduce tourism to the fishing village of Oia in Santorini. Yiannis and Anna Chaidemenos transformed 17th century caves, once used to store wine, into designer-chic luxury hotel rooms. .
We, at Numinous, are enthralled by the passion for excellence showed by Markos and the team. We can’t wait to share the beauty of the Canaves Collection with the Australian & New Zealand markets.

Did you know? named the Carlton Hotel bar one of the world’s best! It’s not just about top-notch drinks; it’s about the unforgettable ambiance and service. Cozy up by the 1913 fireplaces or snuggle under a blanket on our sun-soaked terrace overlooking the snowy lake and mountains. For extra warmth, sip on our “Apple Pie in the Sky”—a delightful mix of Etter Vieille Pomme Royale, cinnamon liqueur, apple juice, chestnut honey, and a splash of Louis Roederer Champagne.

I (Tamara here, hello!) recently had the privilege of staying at in Rajasthan, not too far out of the amazing city of Jaipur. What an incredible oasis Aman have created here where you can relax, recharge and immerse yourself into the local village life through wonderful experiences like “cow dust”, an opportunity to meet some of the locals at the end of the day when all the farm animals are coming home at dusk and so you see all the dust they’re kicking up on their way home. Or why not hike up one of the mountains nearby to an ancient village ruin to get your heart rate up? Thanks so much to the wonderful hospitality of the GM and all the team for a truly wonderful experience

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them. 🤍

Thank you to for creating this beautiful art and post.

Posted • Respectfully, I thought that this year, for the Anzac Day artwork it would be only fitting to not just have the poppy flower but to include our little “mates”. You see for me April 25 isn’t just about the reflection of the past - the national day of commemoration of Australia and New Zealand for victims of war and for recognition of the role of their armed forces. It marks the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. (for those overseas and unaware what our national holiday is) whilst we reflect what past generations did for us we eternally have the greatest connection with our brother and sisters “across the ditch”. I am truly grateful for the community of suppliers and retailers I get to work with in New Zealand through my work. The generations before us gifted us so much more than the freedom that came from First World War, I feel that camaraderie and mate ship are here today with us. We will remember them. This years artwork I was torn over doing a poppy or some rosemary this year, as we wear the rosemary. I do love the hope and joy that comes with the poppy and the colours. Poppies grew on the battlefields of Belgium and France in World War I. Many Australian soldiers died there during the war. The poppy sends a message about remembering people who have died in wars. Reminder the Sydney Studio will be closed tomorrow and will re open on Friday for business as usual. 🪖🎖🙏😌 🌺 Let me know in the comments below what you think of this years Anzac Day artwork 🖼️ and what you would like to see for next year 🫶🏼

A wee post of gratitude for this crazy journey I’ve been blessed with (Tamara here). This week Debra, Sheree and I have been able to plan out the year ahead whilst experiencing some much needed sunshine and luxury up at The Reef House at Palm Cove (if you’ve not been yet, you need to get here). I’m writing this on the back of a boat, returning back to shore after a day of snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef. I’ve a beer in hand and loving the feeling of the suns kisses on face. Sheree is snoozing after swimming with turtles and Debra is taking in the views across this beautiful ocean (Millie, we’ve missed you this week, but love what you’re doing. Hugs to you).
.
Although that all sounds like a bit of a jolly, but we have been working too. A day with our fabulous business coach (love you Kait!) and lots of planning for the next year ahead and all we’ve done is talk incessantly (and as enthusiastically as you’ve come to expect from us) about our beautiful hotel brands and DMC’s and how we can serve them even better, and be an even stronger resource for our divine travel trade in Australia and New Zealand. We’ve solidified what we want to achieve in this next year and our goals are lofty & sparkle with fairy dust. Just how we like them.
Lovely travel trade, we want all your feedback, so we can serve you better and better everyday. We will be coming out to you shortly with a survey to find out what else you need from us. We want to dive into how we can be better every step of the way to help you serve our mutual clients. Watch out for the survey in your inbox, and we are looking forward to hearing back from you.
We can’t wait to cut our teeth into the next rollercoaster - full of joy, adrenaline, beautiful relationships and conquering what’s out of our comfort zones.
Thanks to everyone that supports Numinous, the team, me. Not just those in the industry whose collaboration and friendship we adore, but our families and friends for the love, the laughs and the much appreciated balance that you give us.

Deb, Sheree, Millie and future Numinous Team, hold on, it’s going to be a year!
Hugs,
Tamara x

Allan Bridge from The Times says, "When it comes to great rail journeys, Scotland to Sicily may not be the most obvious route, but it does have a Phileas Fogg ring to it."

We couldn't agree more!

Have you tried the Scotland to Sicily rail route designed by Rocco Forte Hotels?

Lovely five-star hotels and first-class carriages added to the thrill of this modern-day Grand Tour
