It’s been a while but we hid stone #9 today.

Opa would have absolutely loved this place and the cruise. We thought about him strongly during this Christmas holiday and hope his stone starts traveling.

One of our other stones is gone so we replaced it today. So happy one of the stones started it’s journey. It’s ok if no one posts it as found or places it elsewhere. We know it is on its journey and taking Opa’s memories with it.

When we placed this stone we actually also found a stone with colorful flowers. There are no coincidences! We like to think it’s Opa’s way of cheering us up on this very cold day, after we visited him at his grave today.

#1-2022.

Placed stone #1 today. ’Follow your heart’

Opa loved to sit on benches and watch people and things. So we picked a nice spot next to a bench overlooking lake Zürich in Switzerland.

Opa passed away in Germany in 2022. He was 87. He left a huge void in our family, both in Germany and the US.

He loved a lot of things and one of them is traveling or hearing about traveling or new places and always interested in learning and exploring.

To remember him we started painting rocks here in Central California. Rocks with things he loved. It helps us connect to him. We will take the rocks with us and place them in the places he would have loved visiting.

When you find one of our rocks, let us know and then take it on a journey with you to it's next spot. We hope we can make our rocks travel the world so Opa can travel with them. As long as we remember our loved ones who have passed, they will live on.
