I have an OG client who last year sent me a spreadsheet with all their reward numbers and credit card they like to use for every trip. Any time they want to book a trip, it is such an easy process and at the end they say, you have my stuff, book it. With working with them for so long, I automatically know exactly what kind of rooms they like, when they want to go because I know their anniversary, they book their own flights with points, always want insurnace, and a month before, like clockwork, they will message me wanting to upgrade 🤣. Loyalty is a big part in this industry and goes such a long way. The longer I book trips for you, the more I get to know you and can cater to your needs. I will forever be grateful to my clients who always stick with me. It is never unnoticed. 🩷

••••𝑅𝑒𝓋𝒾𝑒𝓌 𝑜𝒻 SANDALS ROYAL CURACAO••••••

The plane ride ✈️:
It is a long day of flying 😴. Our flight left Memphis at 5:55am and it was a 2 hour flight to Miami. We had about an hour and a half layover which was plenty of time, but Miami is HUGE! Lots of walking! From Miami to Curacoa it was about 2.5 hours. Honestly, if Curacoa wasn’t a 2 hour time difference ahead of us, it would not have been too bad. We arrived at the resort around 4pm!

The airport 🛬:
The airport is so nice! We were very surprised for such a small island. Customs was a breeze—no passport stamp though as everything is electronic (I personally hate this) STAMP MY PASSPORT 🤣

The Island 🏝️:
This is a Dutch island. I feel like this island is broken up into so many parts. When we left the airport, we kind of felt like we were in Jamaica and then BAM we see a town with an IMAX, mall, and NAPA. We were very confused 🤣. 15 minutes later you were in the beautiful mountains. We were here a short time so we were not able to go and explore the island, but I have many suggestions such as a flamingo sanctuary, pigs, and hanging bridges.

The resort🏨:
This may be one of the most beautiful resorts I have been to. You cannot beat the double Infiniti pool view. I could spend hours and hours there just looking at the beauty.
I would say this is a medium/large resort. Depending where your room is, you will definitely get your steps in (which isn’t a bad thing with all the food options). They also have bikes you can ride around the resort on which is such a nice touch. There are daily activities at the pool including trivia, volleyball, mixology, etc. Every night there are shows and entertainment including karaoke or you can enjoy the amazing hot tub looking over the ocean.

The beach 🌊:
Interesting story for the beach! It has always been a beach with rocks, BUT Sandals brought in the sand, so some say it is a man made beach. Still very pretty, but not naturally sandy😊

Rooms 🚪:
A lot of room categories including some with their own Infiniti pools! As always with Sandals, you have luxury, club level, and butler level for rooms. All amazing and updated!

The Restaurants 🍛:
8 Restaurants and 3 FOOD TRUCKS! With it being a Dutch island, the food is a little different. Definitely still something for everyone, but make sure to look at the menus before you go! Personal favorite-Gatsu Gatsu

The Staff 👥:
The staff was very nice. We had one mishap with our air conditioner one night and they were FAST to fix it. Even came the next two days to make sure everything was still good! We rented a cabana for a day ($75 for half a day from 9-1 or 1-5. $150 for a full day 9-5) you receive a concierge for a day and ours was amazing!

Overall:
The views speak for itself, but this quickly became one of our favorite Sandals.

If you are a beach person, but make sure you are ok with a “man made beach”.
If you are a very very picky eater, make sure to look at the menus.
My husband did say he has had better drinks at different Sandals (I do not drink so I cannot attest to that) my virgin drinks were good 🤣

Carnival Cruise Line has banned a decoration with a very specific meaning - upside down pineapples.

The company's brand ambassador said passengers caught with upside down pineapples on their door will have the decoration removed by cruise staff.

To comply with guidelines for going ashore, all guests (including infants) must carry a passport book that is valid for at least six months after the cruise ends.

"Guests will be permitted to sail with other acceptable travel documentation, but they must remain on board when the ship visits Panama."
