Natural area preserves around the state were established to protect Virginia's rarest species of plants and animals. Bordering DWR’s Goshen Wildlife Management Area, Goshen Pass has been managed by DCR since 1954 and is Virginia’s oldest state-managed natural area. Today you can enjoy hiking and wildlife watching but remember an active fishing or hunting license, boat registration, Restore the Wild membership or DWR daily access permit is required.
