Now that we are back from Tassie it’s time to get serious about the next trip. Guess where this is?

Pancakes and coffee. Another historic town. You never get sick of looking around these towns.

They breed their wildlife strong 💪 in Tassie😄. But only between dusk and dawn apparently.
24/03/2022
Let’s build a lookout to see what’s inside this big hole we dug out!!
22/03/2022
More convict history here on Sarah Island. Some of the stories about life here are unimaginable. Thanks to the world heritage cruises for the tours and great service.

If it wasn’t for all the cars, this place was like a set from the Wild West. I expected to see Clint Eastwood or Marty mcfly and the doc walk on by!
17/03/2022
Queenstown was not what I expected, fantastic views from here over the town
15/03/2022
Cracker of a campsite. Lake view and a windbreak. Campfire should keep things a little warmer.
13/03/2022
Nice and cosy to enjoy a whisky. Plenty of Tasmanian whiskeys to enjoy when I get home 😋.

With so much history around Hobart this little model version of Hobart in the 1800’s is a great way to see what the town looked like. I bet the makers had fun creating the many poses for the model people.
11/03/2022
As far south as you can drive in Australia. Some spectacular scenery, still cold but what do you expect when you are closer to Antarctica than Cairns.
10/03/2022
There are some pretty cool old buildings in Hobart. Even if some of them are replica’s the history is amazing.
09/03/2022
On top of Mt Wellington, cold and windy, but great views of Hobart.
07/03/2022
Bruny Island eat your heart out! 😋 so much more food we could have bought.
06/03/2022
What else do you expect to see in a town called penguin?
04/03/2022
Look out Tassie we are coming. We just can’t quite escape the rain.
03/03/2022
I wonder where red and tilly are off to?
10/02/2022
Obligatory lookout photo shoot! You can’t resist taking a photo when on the top of hill.
01/01/2022
A wet day presented a very wet day out on the tracks. Big red suffered a bend step but worse of all needed a holden as an anchor to get up a hill 😩
30/12/2021
After watching the sun set on our last day at south west rocks it was all about the dog! Found the big dog on the way to our next campsite and then a day at the beach in Yamba before settling down for tonight.
28/12/2021
Liked the place so much we might stay a few nights now the wind has died down a bit. Still a bit of rain about.
26/12/2021
Day one of a week of no plans. Ended up in the coopernook state forest.
09/10/2021
Lockdown is coming to an end. Hopefully the next post will be on location. Somewhere on Oz.
03/10/2021
Red is all ready to cheer on the Panthers.
19/09/2021
The day has finally arrived. Red got hitched. Welcome “Tilly” to the family.
07/08/2021
Life in lockdown. Where am I going today?
29/07/2021
Love an outback sunset. One day I’ll be back here.
28/07/2021
Nothing says adventure quite like muddy feet 👣
16/07/2021
When you mix the railway with a country town. Not sure what this was about as the town was closed on Sundays. Ah well good enough excuse to go back.
14/07/2021
One of the many great things about camping. I don’t think you could mess up a campfire dinner
13/07/2021
Been to the centre of Australia and the northern most point of Australia . Next stop, southern most point of Australia.
10/07/2021
Such a nice morning for a walk. Pitty we are in lockdown and couldn’t come back here.
09/07/2021
Wish you could camp this weekend? Me too.
08/07/2021
Good morning everyone! How good are outback sunrises 🌅
07/07/2021
Red has grown up since this photo! It’s been 5 years since we ventured out to see how much fun we could find. I wonder what is next for red?
