Serenity Bay is the adult-only area of Disney’s Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. This Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando split stay is practically perfect in every way! Happy check-in day to this family starting their vacation at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in a Theme Park View Club Level room. Then they are heading over to Loews Portofino Bay at Universal Orlando, where they will stay in a Despicable Me Kids Suite with a Minion themed room for the kids and a luxurious king room for the adults! I cannot think of a more magical way to spend spring break!

Ready for a completely honest review of a popular Epcot drink? I have wanted to try the La Cava Avocado Margarita at La Cava Del Tequila for a while and finally got around to it on my most recent trip. I had high hopes for this one! After all, I love margaritas AND avocados, so how could it not be amazing? To be honest, I found this drink bland. It tasted exactly like an avocado…I guess based on the name I should’ve expected that. 😂 I just really enjoy the kick of the lime and tequila in a traditional margarita and the avocado flavor REALLY mellowed that out. It tasted more like my morning smoothie than it did an alcoholic beverage. If that sounds appealing, give it a try. La Cava is adorable and it’s always fun to explore the Mexico Pavilion. I just think I’ll stick with my Diablo Margarita. What’s your favorite Epcot margarita? Any suggestions for what to try next time at La Cava?

I had the privilege of representing Sweetbay Travel Concierge along with my friend and colleague, Amy, at the first Earmarked Silver Producer Workshop at Walt Disney World this week! As a former educator, my goal is to never stop learning. I’m so thankful for these opportunities to continue doing so. We spent our time deep diving into ways to make our clients’ experiences even more magical and picking the brains of our travel advisor colleagues and some top Disney professionals. And of course we got to enjoy the Walt Disney World parks! We had a private dessert party at Epcot, got to check out the Festival of the Arts, try new foods, experience some of our favorite rides, AND stay in the beautifully appointed rooms at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Even 4 years into this journey, I find myself wondering if this is real life!
