Mama green monkey and her baby came by for a visit this morning! Even though we’re centrally located on the south coast, we get all kinds of wildlife- especially birds. This week we’ve seen parakeets, grey king birds, antillian crested hummingbirds, bananquits and Barbados bull finches.

makes a ridiculously good cou-cou and flying fish, BUT Mom’s recipe was always the best….I can remember stealing any partial pieces shortly after they left the pan, with a squeeze of lime. Yum. Then during actual dinner add rice and peas with veggie gravy to go with it, Yum! Next day, leftovers in a salt bread. Yummmmmmm. Back then they were 10 for $10 in Oistins.

It’s a straight 1 bedroom unit with a dreamy bedroom and ensuite, spacious kitchen/dining and a simple living room that leads onto a signature Rustico bamboo patio with outdoor shower.

1 bed + den, it’s a big open plan living area with a huge bamboo patio with our signature surf shower and this to die for dining room kitchen combo!

Other than this gem available May 12th onwards, we’re fully booked until August.
