HOW DOES IT WORK? Starting June 8, 2011, THE ATLANTA TALENT LEAGUE will be GUESTS at a networking and industry party at the LUCKY LOUNGE. There will be live entertainment; a LIVE filming of a new television show; food; free beer; and lots of fun! While the party and show is going on downstairs, THE ARTIST TALENT LEAGUE welcomes anyone interested in joining THE LEAGUE to become a member. You will be filmed performing a monologue of your choice that will be posted along with your photo, resume, and contact information. Once you are a member of THE LEAGUE you are immediately considered for casting in upcoming productions. ARTIST TALENT LEAGUE CASTING CATALOG
As a member of THE LEAGUE your "profile" works as an agent and casting director. Your "monologue" works as your audition. Your "contact info" on The Atlanta Talent League website works as your web page. Production companies that are looking for talent can log onto the website and view your audition. You can now refer business to your web page at THE ARTIST TALENT LEAGUE. It can be printed on your business cards, photos, FACEBOOK pages, etc. HOW MUCH IS THE MEMBERSHIP? To become a member you pay a one time registration fee of $125.00; plus there is a monthly $25 membership fee. Your registration fee pays to set up your digital profile:
name, photo, resume/bio, we videotape your monologue live, upload your monologue, and assign you with a membership number. Your $25 monthly fee allows you:

Monologue Competition
Each Wednesday we will select one male and one female for the best monologue from our registries as a free entry into the monologue competition. The winners will perform their monologues on main stage (to air on MPTV) the audience will vote the best monologue of the day. The winner will get:

Anyone can enter the competition for a $25 entry fee and perform a monologue, poem, spoken word, sing, joke, or whatever. All performances can be no longer then 2 minutes. For non performing artists: (CREW OR TECHNICAL)

We will upload your portfolios, resume, digital reels of your work, and videotape you introducing your expertise to upload for your digital profile

We don't guarantee that you will become a star. It's your job to work on your craft and become a star. Our job is to give you exposure and make sure that you are seen first for upcoming productions. You will be considered for casting for lead roles, supporting roles, guest starring roles, day players, extra work, stand in, and etc. We will equip you with the tools necessary to get you in the room...you take it from there. WHO CAN JOIN THE LEAGUE? The Artist Talent League catalog doesn't only benefit actors. Singers, poets, spoken word artists, makeup designers, wardrobe, directors, writers, all industry artists are welcome to
display their gifts via your personal web page on THE ATLANTA LEAGUE site. The rules, fees, benefits and exposure are the same for all artists! The League meets every other week on Wednesday nights 5pm-10pm for the first month starting May 25, 2011 at the LUCKY LOUNGE (375 Luckie St., Atlanta, GA 30313). After our first month we will expand to weekly gatherings! THE LEAGUE is not the host of the Lucky Lounge, we are guests only. There is a $10 cover charge at the door for the industry & entertainment function, THE LEAGUE is a separate organization! Their $10 entry fee is not attached to or in any way related to fees for THE LEAGUE. After you've completed your registration and monologue, you are welcome to join the festivities and entertainment.
