Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is back!!!! This limited capacity five hour holiday event kicking off Nov. 8 and running on select nights through Dec. 20 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10.

The dates for 2024 are:

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning in 2024!

This year’s not-so-scary event will begin on Aug. 9 and take place on select nights through Oct. 31 at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort. Tickets go on sale for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels on May 8. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale May 15.

Yesterday was the very last day of the classic Country Bear Jamboree show in Walt Disney World. This attraction is one of my very favorites, especially the bear known as Big Al. While I’m very sad to lose an original attraction, the show will go on in a new way. The bears will return with all new music and some modifications. Have you experienced the queue at the Expedition Everest attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom? Even if you don’t want to experience the thrill ride itself, I’d recommend walking the queue and using the “chicken out” excuse to exit the queue when it’s your turn to ride. It’s filled with detail and I see something new each time I walk through. Check it out it’s really amazing!

Magical Greetings!

My name is Jen and I live in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL. My love for traveling to the parks started on a trip to Walt Disney World when I was young. We went with my Godparents and I vividly remember my Godfather teaching me about the windows on Main Street and the significance of the names on each window. On that same trip I took a backstage tour and learned all about how the magic is created and how the different entertainment groups are staged and created. Ever since, I long to visit the parks and love planning our trips, especially now with our two young children. We plan our Disney trips as often as we can and each trip is just as magical as the last.

I have also participated in multiple RunDisney events. Running is easy when you are running through the most magical place on Earth!

A little more about me…

My favorite Disney resort: I have a favorite in each category but if I had to choose one it would be Art of Animation. It exemplifies my love for animation and a long time dream to be a Disney animator.
