The Kilfenora, one of Ireland’s most iconic traditional music groups, has been delighting audiences for over a century with their unique and masterful performances. Hailing from the village of Kilfenora in County Clare, the band has been at the heart of Irish traditional music since 1909, earning a reputation as one of the outstanding sounds in Irish music.

Discover the history and magic of Tulach a’ tSolais Monument near Oulart Village—a powerful tribute to Ireland’s past and future, set deep within the rural countryside of North Wexford and a perfect addition to a walk at this time of year. Built to commemorate the 1798 United Irishmen’s rebellion, this unique structure connects Ireland's ancient burial mounds with the hope for a brighter future. Designed by sculptor Micheal Warren and architect Dr. Ronald Tallon, it’s a space of reflection featuring “upturned hands, offering hope.”
Designed so that the the monument aligns perfectly with the setting sun for a breathtaking natural light show for both the Spring and Autumn Equinox this moument is peaceful and serene. Also on site, nine Irish apple trees mark the legacy of Oulart’s ancient placename, “Abhallghort” (Orchard). Open year-round, Tulach a’ tSolais is part of the Oulart Hill walking route or accessible by car. Come and experience a piece of Ireland’s spirit and history!
