Today Tuesday December 5 marks a new step forward for the redevelopment of EPCOT.

Today marks the official opening of Dreamer's Point with the new Walt Disney 'Walt the Dreamer' statue, and the World Celebration Gardens.

I think the nicest part about this will be the new statue plus it means a lot of those construction walls will be gone.

I would temper your expectations however, the CommuniCore Hall and Plaza with Mickey and Friends will not be opening tomorrow. Construction continues on those pieces likely until early next year.

Tonight also marks the premiere of Luminous, the new night time spectacular at the World Showcase Lagoon.
