Our family spends our time on the private other side of this precious "shotgun double cottage" in the heart of New Orleans, in the residential neighborhood of MID CITY. We take great pride in being VOTED BEST MID-CITY RENTAL FOR THE PRICE. We love the convenient location of this beautiful area & spending time continuing to explore our city & all of its rich historical culture even after living here for many, many years. There is always something to do, including festivals celebrating anything & everything almost every weekend. We also love to share our love for this beautiful city with our guests, tourists & newcomers who are finding their way here for the first time. Most everything is just a streetcar ride, a quick drive or ride share away. If this is your first time, I promise, it won’t be your last. Many of our guests return or refer friends to us.

1) RENTAL VERIFICATION. Complete the attached verification form & email to [email protected] with the SUBJECT: THE COTTAGE ON CANAL ST. - VERIFICATION. ( call or text when you send to avoid delays.
2)We usually receive results within 24 hours. If you are already VERIFIED with the website please let us know, it will make the process go much faster.
3) Once received, reviewed & accepted, we will contact you to discuss the lease, which is a basic lease, then send it for your digital signature noting your requested time period.
We can handle deposits then.We are flexible since this is a private residence & Elaine is a Realtor.
4) Reservations are not firm until deposits are deposited in & processed through our VENMO account.
5) All payments of deposits & monthly rent must be via VENMO.
6) We do it quickly for you so you can have a fabulous experience.
