If you have opted for the optional airport transfers, we will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha airport and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi.Pre-trek briefing at your Moshi hotel. 6-Day Tanzania Pure Camping Safari
On this 6-day safari you will experience the best Tanzania has to offer, including 2 nights in the Serengeti. You will sleep in tents (on the ground) and will have your own private chef. You will experience breathtaking wildlife in the midst of some of the most diverse landscapes. Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! You will be picked up from the airport by Osotwa Africa Safaris representative and drive to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you will hopefully have time to relax and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime! Busy Arusha is an essential part of safari life here in northern Tanzania and most travelers pass through at some stage.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your Deeper Serengeti Safari guide will collect you from your accommodation after breakfast. This morning, you will drive to Tarangire National Park. The transit drive is approximately two and a half hours on good tarmac roads. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This โriver of warthogsโ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire than anywhere else on the planet! The huge and ancient Baobab trees can be seen here. Some of them are said to have lived for more than a thousand years.
Lunch will be at a picnic site inside the Park. After your game drive, you will transit to your campsite.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will drive up into the cooler regions of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There will be a chance to stop and see the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. You will then transit through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, entering at the South of the Park. The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands which allow for excellent sightings of wildlife. Whilst it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest; zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The migration can be found during any given month; you just need to know where to look! Depending on what time of year you come, you may get a chance to witness one of the 'Seven Wonders of the Natural World'. You will have a picnic lunch and will overnight at a campsite in the middle of the bush!

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
This entire day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti boasts an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators and you may see lion, cheetah and leopard. It is a truly life-changing experience.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will wind your way towards Ngorongoro Crater, hopefully enjoying more wonder on the way! Ngorongoro Crater: concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, glistening lakes and swamps. The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. The drive down into the Crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the Crater floor, you'll quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.
After a full afternoon inside the Crater, you will drive to your campsite.

Day 6: Lake Manyara to Arusha
This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Your final destination on this epic safari! Manyara is a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. Everything youโll see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (this is one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyaraโs western boundary). The parkโs namesake is a shallow, salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 other bird species). You may see baboon and elephant in the parkโs thick evergreen forest, and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the Park. After your game drive, you will be dropped off at a place of your choosing e.g. Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport. We hope you have enjoyed your adventure with Osotwa Africa Safaris!

4 DAYS NORTHERN TANZANIA WILDLIFE SAFARIS.

Program(Day by day program)
DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.
You will be picked up from your Hotel or airport and driven to Tarangire National Park for the day game drive with your picnic lunch boxes en route. In the evening, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
The park is located slightly off the main safari route. Tarangire National Park is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania that is most famous for its elephant migration, birding, and quiet and authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travelers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for a matter of hours leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched.
Accommodation: Farm of Dream Lodge/Eiltreen inn
DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER.
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro for the game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, and in the afternoon, drive to Serengeti National Park.
The jewel in Ngorongoro crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20 km across, 600 meters deep, and 300 sq km in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
Embark on a full-day game drive across the captivating Serengeti plains and the wildlife-rich Seronera area. Encounter the majesty of elusive lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, and crocodiles in their natural habitat. It's a day filled with thrilling wildlife experiences amidst the stunning landscapes of Serengeti.

DAY 4:SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA.

KILIMANJARO LEMOSHO ROUTE.
Mountain Kilimanjaro with the beautiful forests and moorlands it crosses the Shira Plateau on day 3 to connect with the Machame Route at Lava Tower and down towards Barranco Valley via the Southern Circuit. You may be lucky enough to see buffalo, elephant and other game. Because this route can be done over a longer period of time for acclimatization, it has a higher success rate of summit.
