I am wishing my oldest son a very Happy 32nd Birthday today! This is one of my favorite photos with him. This picture was taken during P.J.'s first Disney trip! Back in the day (1980's), and before photopass, you had a photo opportunity when you exited Pirates of the Caribbean in what is now the gift shop. During our recent Norwegian Cruise we did an excursion to Rio Secreto (aka The Secret River) while stopped in Cozumel, Mexico. The Secret River is the underground caverns in Mexico. I have always wanted to explore caverns and I was not disappointed. The water is crystal clear and really cold. We were able to explore just a small part, but it was still amazing. Not only did we explore and learn, we also got to see bats! I highly recommend visiting the caverns if you are ever in Playa del Carmen. The tour does provide these very flattering wet suits and fashionable head gear with light.
