What state do you think has the best fall colors this year? A strong case can be made for Washington, with the Cascades currently covered in a variety of yellow, orange, and red. To see some of them yourself, check out the Stampede Pass Adventure Route! Time is running short before the trees lose all of their leaves and the snow starts falling.

With the temps dropping fast, what is an OTG route you are trying to squeeze in before it is no longer accesible? The Stampede Pass Adventure Trail is not far off from being covered in deep snow, and we decided to make use of it one more time before that happens. The views are pretty hard to beat!

With autumn officially here, the deserts of SoCal are looking like a great choice to for trip planning. The Joshua Tree Adventure Route is short and sweet at 137 miles total, making it a killer weekend length trip.

The Maze District Adventure Route: Utah can be quite a handful to plan for, as there is literally thousands of miles of 4WD accesible land- but the maze district is unique even amongst the all the other land.

To do this route, you must aquire a back country permit for camping from Canyonlands National Park. This grants you access to 246 miles of some of the most secluded trails in the great state of Utah. But be advised- 4WD, high clearance, and a minimum of 10 gallons of extra fuel are neccesary!

The California Crest Trail officially invites you to quit your job and hit the road for the foreseeable future. If completed in full length, you will get to cover over 2100 miles and see just about every type of terrain and climate in the state.

With fall now here, you could get some snow wheeling in short order in the sierras, head south to the desert, and essentially pick what season and terrain you would like to start with!

The Owyhee discovery trail: Take a deep dive into one of Oregons relatively secret gems for overlanding. 218 miles of rugged high desert, with a fantastic mix of river spots, hot springs, craggy buttes, and much, much more. Most of this route presents views that could be mistaken for a different planet, in the best possible way!

One of the most remote areas of CA is calling your name - the Modoc Backcountry Discovery Route takes you the furthest reaches of the north east portion of the state. 206 miles of lava tubes, high desert, and all of that in one of the least populated areas of the whole state!
