Hey Siri, when’s the best time to go on a Safari in Kenya?

The answer - every season is spectacular in its own way! The key is narrowing down what is important to you and choosing the right national parks or private reserves(personally my favorite).

Angama Mara is perfectly situated in the Mara Triangle and managed by the Mara Conservancy. Which means - less crowds and a high concentration of wildlife all year round including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino).

Meanwhile, the new Angama Amboseli is in the heart of Kimana Sanctuary, where animals cross from the Tsavo region into Amboseli National Park daily. Also home to some of the last Super Tuskers in the world - where we met the eldest, Craig!

There are only a handful of properties that hold a special place in my heart and might be #1.

Designed by Spanish designer , the attention to details is out of this world! The fabrics, the art, the antiques, the carpets, the gardens! The manor dates back to the 17th century and feels like complete royalty.

It is worth noting that the property is more than just its incredible aesthetics. The team they have cultivated are some of the best I have ever seen in the business! The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful.

If a breath of fresh air could be a place, this would be it. ❤️
