Cutting holes in a brand new van is never easy but the end result is so worth it.
Would we do it again? No!
Would we do it again? Maybe.
Would we do it again? Probably. But it is too soon to revisit those emotions.

While making our way up the East Coast we stopped off at a geological formation cleverly named the natural bridge.
Natural Bridge State Park in Virginia is a great place to spend an hour when traveling through the area.
Formed from millions of years of Cedar Creek flowing across and through the limestone, the 215 foot high arch now spans the creek.
The Natural Bridge State Park has a big parking lot, a large information/gift shop and clean restrooms.
FYI there is an admission fee that is strongly enforced.

🐴 While in Puerto Plata we spent a morning horseback riding through the mountains and countryside. We loved it!
🐎 Mixto was definitely hangry. He kept wanting to munch plants on the trail and bite at poor Pintintin! He did enjoy the full out run right before the break.
🥺 Pintintin was a sad and sleepy soul. I’m convinced that his girlfriend dumped him the night before and he was heartbroken all morning. Poor thing!

Passing through Ocala, FL stopped off for a quick round of 24. If you’re into disc golf this is a nice course that we highly recommend.

Puerto Plata’s city center has great street performers including this fine gentlemen and his horse. He gave me one of the best dances I’ve experienced lately!

💦 Linville Falls off the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.
📸This viewpoint was one of my favorites. It’s from the upper trail looking back towards the 45-foot fall after the slot canyons.
🥾There are always lots of people at the lower falls. The trail is short and gradual. This spot is a steeper hike, but not far. The views are gorgeous and there were much fewer people.

Check out our Jeep tent camping set up. We stayed overnight at a dispersed camp site on Citico Creek in the Nanathala National Forest in Tennessee. https://youtu.be/7-vhzkQCOwo
The Cascadia Vehicle Tents-CVT kept us dry and cozy all through the rainy night. Coffee on the Trailgater helped us wake up and warm up the next morning. The back of the Jeep was easy to pack out with HookeRoad.com shelf and Iceco Freezer and slide.

🏝 One of our favorite days in the Dominican Republic was sailing from Punta Rucia to Paradise Island! 🛥 The crew and guides were amazing, friendly and fun. The views of the sea and mountains are absolutely stunning. We stopped at a sandbar, swam around with the other guests, were treated to a floating drinks bar and some of the best ceviche. 🐠 Then we continued on to Paradise Island which is surrounded by a gorgeous coral reef. Each hut on the island was hosted by a different tour company.
