Veronica Williams, M.A., LPC is owner of VW Counseling & Performance Coaching, LLC. Mrs. Williams is married to her husband of over two decades and has raised four children with Mr. Williams. Mrs. Williams was raised in the Los Angeles County area of California. Mrs. Williams served in the United States Navy for four years (1990-1994) and was stationed on board the USS Cape Cod AD-43. She also completed some time in the Naval Reserve and finished her military service in beautiful San Diego, CA. While residing in her native California she met and married a fellow ship mate who later continued his military service in the US Army. Such being the case, Mrs. Williams is very familiar with both sides of the military coin…being a service member who deploys and being a family member with a spouse that deploys. This unique military experience combined with years of education is what provides Mrs. Williams with the ability and empathy required to see and treat our military population. Mrs. Williams earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Saint Martin’s University (WA) and a Masters degree in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University (TX). Mrs. Williams specializes with adults who struggle with the following: depression, anxiety, bipolar, anger, stress, PTSD, relationship challenges, and many others difficulties. To treat the before mentioned challenges; she has completed various hours of training in the following treatment modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT); Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR); Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE). Lastly, Mrs. Williams uses her education and training to assist individuals with improving their performance by “getting their head in the game”…psychologically of course!
