✈️ After a grueling day of traveling home, we arrived at baggage claim about 11pm, & I checked my app to track the location of one of the Apple AirTags in my luggage.
📍 With its location still near the plane, I knew to sit back because it would be a bit before the bags appeared on the carousel.
🧳 I could see when the bags were about the come out as the location of my AirTag got closer.
😮 Our first bag came quickly, but the second DIDN’T COME OUT!
🌴 I checked the location of the second, and I was able to see that the bag was last in Florida at about 9pm. Unfortunately, our flight left at 7:45pm, so that meant it did not leave with us.
😔 At that moment, I could not see the current location, because it was most likely in flight.
A very helpful baggage agent said, based on the information the AirTag provided, that our bag was probably on the 8:45pm flight.
🤷🏻♀️ We filled out the online claim, hoped our bag would show up, & headed home.
⏰ Within an hour, we received an alert that our bag arrived. It was in fact on that later flight.
📍 I checked the AirTag location, & I could see that it was safely in the airport. 👍🏻
✌️ We were able to go to bed with the peace of mind that we’d have our bag the next morning!
‼️ I will never travel again without the Apple AirTags!!!
