Had a great lunch last week at Nighthawk Vineyards . Has the 3 greats - great wine, great food and great Okanagan views (and live entertainment with Chef Carson flipping dough). Lunch was 5 star Bob approved. Included on our OK Falls tour with either a lunch or dinner stop at Nighthawk.

Two well known locals in the hospitality industry have moved to The Restaurant at Fairview Mountain. Jordan Shoemaker is the new food and beverage manager and Nick Atkins is the chef. Had a great lunch with a Mount Baldy view! Will be adding this restaurant as an option on our Oliver Wine Tours. Dinner hours and dinner menu coming in May.

It's the season! You may have heard about cold weather damage in the vineyards - it's not all gloom & doom, the Okanagan wine industry is still open for business!
We attended a wine conference in Penticton last week and have been doing research at various wineries (industry speak for wine tastings). Yes there is extensive damage. Some vineyards are already being ploughed under. The full extent of the damage will not be known until June. Most wineries do not expect to have inventory concerns until 2025 or 2026. So for this year it will be business as usual - some changes in tasting room policies and availability of some wines. It is our job to be aware of the changes and customize a tour to meet your expections (we will continue with our research!). The local growers will adapt to changing climate and consumer demand as winemakers are doing around the world.

Many of our customers have enjoyed the wine and hospitality of the Rust Wine Co. Sadly, the manager of Rust, Kane Morgan, died as a result of a collision at Kaleden on December 8.
