Did you know? If you are celebrating a special occasion at or , you can ask any retail/shop (cashier) for a button! You can write your name or what you are celebrating on the buttons! Also, don’t be alarmed if strangers wish you “happy birthday,” “congrats,” or “welcome” as you walk around the park. I started doing this when others did it for me! Makes you feel so special no matter the occasion 🥰

Every time I go to Disneyland, I love wandering Galaxy’s Edge (Batuu West!)! From discovering new photo ops to taking a break in Oga’s Cantina to visit DJ R-3X with some refreshing AC and drinks!

Love taking a break at the Magic Key Terrace in DCA! I tried the Conestoga Cocktail, Impossible Sicilian Meatball Flatbread, and the House-made Churros! Everything was so yummy-especially the flatbread. Saucy!

It’s my first time flying Volaris and first time flying to Mexico! I had a layover in Mexico City and checked out the Centurion Lounge for chilaquiles and mimosas in the domestic terminal.

Misc review of Volaris: I read horror stories of flying with Volaris but I think as long as you know you’re flying budget- you know what you’re going to get. You won’t be surprised by all the up-charges. I found their customer service pleasant after I found that Volaris changed and delayed my flight by one day. I called customer service and they helped get me back on a flight for my original date and near enough the time I needed to land by! He also gave me credit towards additional services on the flight (purchase seats, baggage allowance, etc) since I had paid for it on the prior flight. There was no hassle to make the changes or get the credit.

Volaris Tip 1: don’t check a bag. It’s $$ and the bag drop line was RIDICULOUS. I gratefully only packed a personal item and a carry on! Packing light made the transfer/immigration in Mexico City a breeze. However, navigating my way through that airport to my connecting flight was a pain! There were practically no signs for the Volaris desk, gate, terminal, etc. I couldn’t remember any of my high school Spanish to use for help. I finally stumbled upon the correct spot after wandering aimlessly.

Tip 2: if you have a carry-on that needs to go in an overhead bin, pay extra to get group one boarding or get lined up early. The group two line was SO long. Group three is ok if you already have an assigned seat and you can stick your one personal item under your seat.

Tip 3: if you are tall or just need space, buy a seat in the exit row, front row, or first couple rows for the extra leg room. I sat in the “regular” sized seats and it was tiny and I’ve got short legs!

Anyone try a Sriracha Turkey Leg at Disneyland before? Not sure how I’ve missed this offering before! Thoughts? I might need to try it after I finish the S’mores Cold Brew I picked up at the Cappuccino Cart in DCA. It’s a beautiful day today at the parks!

For I am bringing your attention to Disneyland’s Breakfast Chimichanga! It is basically a crispy, fried breakfast burrito with eggs, potatoes, cheese, and sausage/bacon. It is super reasonably priced at $6.49 +tax. If you like tomatillos/salsa, I suggest trying the green salsa for an extra $1 (it’s a huge portion-my sister and I shared one). You can also grab some La Victoria picante sauce for free. The chimichanga good no matter what. If you’re not into meat, there is a meatless breakfast chimichanga option, too!

I discovered this burrito only last year and now it’s my go-to favorite breakfast item (other than the semi-burrito like Ronto Morning Wrap (hello cheese and peppercorn sauce!).

Tips: Get your breakfast chimichanga early. They tend to sell out way earlier than 11am. Sometimes by 9:30!

Chimichangas usually are sold at the Ship to Shore Marketplace next to the Mark Twain Riverboat area across from Big Thunder. However, during my visit last Friday, the marketplace was closed for refurbishment! Luckily you can head straight to Stage Door Cafe for your chimichanga (or turkey leg) fix!

Because it is National Puppy Day, meet Bubbles! She is a ridiculously adorable 9 week old (approx) pup! I’m her foster mom until she gets adopted (which is soon!). She’s just so stinking cute. She loves snuggles, playtime, sprawling out, doing zoomies, and lounging in the sun!

Exciting Disneyland news!
My fave is that you can switch between parks starting at 11am instead of 1pm with a Park Hopper ticket starting February 4th!

Second fave is that all ticketed guests will have complimentary downloads of their Attraction photos starting February 4th throughout the Disney100 celebration! Yay for high-res photos on Space Mountain and Guardians of the Galaxy!

Here is a peek into Villains Grove (Redwood Creek Trail) during Oogie Boogie Bash if you aren’t able to visit! It is best experienced at night. That way you get to experience the full light/projections aspects! It can sometimes get crowded at a projection or two but the crowd moved relatively quickly this year!
